Ok to go here if there's nothing wrong with you - annual physicals. If you are actually sick, they are very dismissive and patronizing; they don't want to schedule you and they don't want to treat you. My insurance finally told me to go to Urgent Care after UW Sun Prairie clinic's repeated refusals to help, and that's saying something when insurance is telling you to do the more expensive thing! Urgent Care treated me right away and they were surprised how sick I was and how long I'd been sick without being able to get care from my primary clinic. They questioned it several times as to how on Earth my primary clinic didn't help. I was later able to confirm that UW Sun Prairie Clinic violated their own protocol in refusing to treat me. Moral of the story: don't waste your time with this clinic if you are sick, just go to Urgent Care.
Dr. Trisha McCormick is absolutely wonderful! If everyone there was like her, I'd give this place 5 stars. But I called in about my daughter this morning, and 5 hours later am still waiting a return phone call from a nurse.
I've been going to Lesley Coert, MD for years and have always received excellent care. She's the best doctor I've ever had. The staff is friendly and any questions I've had by phone or message have been answered promptly. My 90 year old parents go to this clinic also and are very happy with the care they're receiving.
Went to the ER was told my rotater cuff was torn I can't move my shoulder at all..the soonest you can see me??? Two weeks from now in beaver dam and hour from my house. You guys are the worst!!!
I wish I could rate the clinic and my primary doctor Dr. L.Coert a lot more stars. Front desk have always been great when I call or visit. Dr. Coert is a amazing doctor and nurses as well. I never get upset with delay response. I understand they are ALL busy and they have other patients attend too. Thank you for all the services you do!!!!!
Honestly don't understand the low rating and complaints here. I have been going here for about 3 years now. Every time I have gone in, I have been treated with respect and kindness. I have never had to wait long on hold, and messages are promptly returned. Dr. Greenfield and the nurses here have been very helpful in addressing several chronic issues I have. Dr. Greenfield has repeatedly been willing to change her approach, make adjustments to meds, etc. in order to help me manage my issues. She is hands-down the most helpful doctor I've ever seen. Only time I ever had an issue getting an appointment was when the whole city was running skeleton crews during Covid. Otherwise, in-person and virtual visits have been easy to come by. TLDR: Dr. Greenfield is the best, the clinic is great, and you should ignore the complaints.
I haven't been able to get an appointment for my two toddler girls the last three times I've attempted. When I've called, the receptionist has forwarded numerous "notes" to the nurses that are left unanswered. They rarely, if ever, call back. This is my primary care practitioner and frankly I've been receiving nowhere close to primary care from them. So disappointing. Two stars because when I have had appointments in the past the staff are professional and engaged.
I have been coming to this clinic since becoming pregnant with my first child in 2012. I LOVE IT! My Doctor, Dr. Kuhn is amazing with my children, very personable, and understanding of my concerns. I have a very demanding job and cannot always make it the clinic and the triage nurses have been extremely helpful in that aspect. Occasionally wait times for scheduled appointments can run long, but that is anywhere you go and the wait is worth it!
I have a Primary Care here at UW and I have been calling him for last month or so. Every time I call, no one answers and I keep hearing "Someone will be with you shortly" his is the 7th time I had to wait over 10 minutes and ended up hanging the call. Cannot schedule an appointment on myChart as system doesnt allow it. I have never seen an unprofessional medical front-office experience ever before and I moved from Appleton. But knowing what I know about UWH, they dont care. I am going to report to State now and lets see if that jolts the management.
Dr. Kuhn was my primary care provider through some challenging times. I made progress with her, but when I decided to start a family and had questions concerning my mental health medications, she refused to see me and forwarded me to random nursing staff employees who I had never met, and never build a rapport with. While also taking me off a pregnancy-safe blood pressure medication and causing withdrawals in first-trimester pregnancy high risk pregnancy at that. GOOD PHYSICIANS ARE NOT MADE BY TAKING EASY CASES. IF YOU ALWAYS CHOOSE THE EASY PATIENTS, OF COURSE YOU WILL FOOL EVERYONE IN THINKING YOU'RE A SUCCESSFUL PHYSICIAN.
