UW Cystic Fibrosis Center: Our care center is one of more than 115 care centers across the country accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, meaning both the adult and pediatric physicians in our center have specialty training in pulmonology. Pediatric Pulmonary Center Grant: The UW PPC is one of six centers in the nation funded by the U.S. Maternal and Child Health Bureau. Since 1985, the UW PPC has provided interdisciplinary, graduate and post-graduate training for graduate students in the core disciplines of nursing, social work, medicine, nutrition, and respiratory therapy.
