Welcome to the Student Legal Society homepage at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Established in 1976, Student Legal Services has provided legal services to eligible University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point students. Student Legal Services is also available to educate students on their legal rights, and responsibilities and to provide them with information in various areas. Student Legal Services has a small library for students interested in law school. Students interested in seeking legal advice, are encouraged to fill out our online form to schedule an appointment.
Student Legal Society has provided to students interested in law school, mock LSAT testing sessions, and a wide range of LSAT material for students to checkout. However, the group is not just for prospective lawyers. Student Legal Society is open to anyone, especially those interested in any aspect of the law. The SLS meets every other week to discuss and set up programs, such as speakers, and trips, such as law school visits.
