Vanessa ‘V. Rich’ Richardson is a professional Hairstylist and Educator. She became a licensed cosmetologist in 2005 and had since then been striving to become a great stylist.
She has the passion and determination to become the best hairstylist across New York by being creative and staying on top of latest trends and also integrating the trends into her client’s personal style. She has been learning to become better, perfecting her craft and taking part in various training most notably; the Sam McKnight Hair Mastered program.
Her pursuit of client’s ultimate satisfaction coupled with her artistic vision and attention to details have helped brought her work to a great level of service and excellence. This has, in turn, earned her numerous recognitions, to mention just a few; In September 2015, she was invited to be a special guest hair stylist during NYC fashion week Spring and the Summer 2016 show; The JD Collection by Rashad Gentle, among others.
Through the years, she has been strengthening her skills and approach to work by attending various state hair shows, conference and exhibitions to keep in touch with the latest hairstyling techniques. Shows and events to include; Fashion Forward Cincinnati Fashion show. July 2016, Fashion Forward Cincinnati Fashions show (winter edition). Dec 2016, New York Fashion Week, Style Fashion Week A/W. Feb 2017, New York Fashion Week Couture Fashion Week A/W. Feb 2017, among others.
She opened her own salon and established V. Rich & co. in 2010 and has been learning to teach and impact knowledge ever since. Became a licensed Cosmetology Educator in 2015 and was offered a position as a senior cosmetology Educator at her al mater, Carousel Spa & Institute.
She has advanced her business by relaunching her virgin extension line and want to continue until your one stop for all your beauty needs will be V. Rich and co. while providing healthy stylish hair care to every client that grace their chair, as well as promoting healthy hair through building hair regimens, treatments etc.
