Vacant Farm is a physical space and conceptual idea that transgresses and transcends traditional titles and hierarchies of the art world, community organizations, and the political. Vacant Farm provides a safe and supportive location for any individual or group who is interested in cultivating, transforming, and redefining what it means to create and work in Kansas City. Through engaging with a diverse set of cultural producers, Vacant Farm encourages a unique, dynamic, and active audience experience. We welcome all parts of the KC community to utilize Vacant Farm as a platform for artistic expression, performance, meetings, music, screenings, and any form of community event through artist studios and event spaces.
