Valdez Park is a relatively small green space in the Dunbar neighbourhood that is primarily used as an off-leash dog park where the dogs generally arrive on leash and then the fun begins with warm conversations among the dog owners and friends who make excellent efforts in keeping the park very clean and making sure the dogs totally enjoy the atmosphere and the park space..tossing a ball or frisbee is a an activity everyone enjoys..I remember some years ago when the field was partially used for little league baseball..a better site was evidently located..
Quiet neighbourhood park with a shady perimeter from the mature trees. Open area is fine for off-leash dog activities. Only one bench on the South side, so the seating is limited. Peek-a-boo views of the city scape and North Shore mountains in the winter. The summer foliage blocks most of the view potential. The surrounding area, particularly Quesnel Drive, is a beautiful place to walk. Lovely homes and gardens.
A small open park, Valdez is a nice place to enjoy some sunshine or play ball. Large plane trees line the perimeter, making this park a pleasant place to stop by on an evening stroll. The park lacks anything else. A bit boring.
Quiet rectangle park, field with treelined streets. One bench, one garbage can, and dry grass. Off leash dog area.
Just a park available for dogs to run. No fences, no bags, nothing fancy but the only one around.
It's an off leash dog park, nice views if mountains. Love this spot
Unmemorable if not unnoticeable. Did I go there? Maybe it's a bit of a boulvard? [ They really need to show a map when asking me about something.]
Great park. Lots of dogs and friendly owners. Peek-a-boo views toward the north.
Great space to come with a dog, but I wish it was fenced!
