Really great first time visit! Was visiting a friend in town and we both visited for the first time with several children. They have a nice patio, but the inside is really cutely decorated with cheerful yellow walls and dog paintings. The only downside was the acoustics are… not great. Imagined cafeteria acoustics. The food was really great. I was starving when I arrived and the waitress recommend their “breakfast croutons” which essentially tasted like elevated, addicting French toast stick bites on a syrupy base. Like I said, addicting! We both had wraps for lunch with French fries and side salads. I almost wish I had gotten a salad for my entree as the salad base was a really nice spring mix and the toppings were finely chopped and well mixed- just the way I prefer a salad. I also had one of their several mimosa options which was enjoyable. The prices I thought were reasonable. The manager owner? stopped by our table before we left to check in on us. Overall, just a really high quality place for a “small town”. Would definitely recommend a stop and only wish I lived closer because I think I’d be a regular! Kid-friendliness: Various high chair available, able to accommodate moderate sizes parties with children
Friendly staff kept the coffee cups full. We sat out on the patio, which was great! I generally don't like sausage gravy and biscuits except for Bob Evans - everything else is bland to me. This was the exception. I asked to taste it before ordering and they brought me a little plastic cupful. I ended up ordering the sausage gravy and biscuits and it did not disappoint.
Mo's chicken pita!!! You WILL NOT be disappointed. It might be my favorite sandwich/wrap/pita I've ever eaten. The combination of the flavors and textures really just does something great!! The shrimp and grits is another favorite and a must try if you are a seafood and grits lover. The staff is super friendly and it has a nice at home feel!
Food took about 55 minutes to get to us. Party of 3. Looked terrible. Tasted edible. I got the eggs Benedict with avocado. Didn’t tell me they were out of avocado until 30 minutes after we had ordered. Server seemed stressed. Ordered a mimosa but weirdly enough it had no juice. Just syrup. Very weird and gross. Didn’t finish it. Waste of $9. A lot of flies. They really liked my sugary drink. We sat inside Very loud inside. It is located inside an Interesting older building.
Our visit is always pleasant. The staff are friendly and the food is always delicious. Our breakfast go-to's are Dan's Barnyard and the Shrimp and Grit Cakes w/garlic toast!!. No lack of flavor or spice here!! Both very filling. Come hungry!!Food: 5/5
There are not words to properly justify the Devine culinary experience that I had here. The food quality and preparation was made with such care and pride I could taste the love in every bite. Our chefs truly know their craft. You know that question about the desert island and only have one thing. It would be any item from the Valley Cafe menu for me. Kid-friendliness: Our children enjoyed this place as much as the adults and the wait staff was very accommodating.
Our first time here and it was a bit of a rush. We all had different burgers. They were good. I think maybe if we had more time to look over the menus and relax a moment our experience would have been better It wasn't bad, we were just in such a rush due to our own time constraints. Will definitely go back to try other things when we are in the area and not in such a rush.
a lovely local mom & pop restaurant, with two wonderful locations. the owners love what they do, and they care about their customers and employees. the food is always delicious and dining in is always a good experience. the interior is warm, cheery and inviting. the staff is attentive. take out is simple and your food is usually ready shortly. did i mention the food is delicious? the french toast is a must!! eat local and give them a visit. they also own dolce at the strand, a gelato shop in an old movie theatre, which is just right across the street and a must visit as well!!
Valley cafe is a breakfast lovers paradise. The Amish bacon and thick French toast is my favorite’s. I have gone to the Wadsworth location alone and with a group of 12 each time fantastic customer service. And their prices are comparable to the not to be name breakfast locations but the atmosphere is friendlier and so much fun.Food: 5/5
This amazing brunch spot is a Wadsworth staple! A local spot, with homemade food made from local products! Love the experience, the people and the food….I could never give up a MO’s Chicken Pita! A must try if you’re in the area, but don’t worry they have another location in Akron too!Food: 5/5
