Lovely little bakery. Sweets were amazing as well as the local coffee blend they serve. Owner and staff are so nice and friendly. Glad we decided to visit a local business instead of a chain. If you are in the area stop in, you will not be disappointed!
Delicious Fresh pastries are here! When I was there they were preparing blueberry and raspberry iced pastries for a wedding the next day. They also do cakes and many other things for any occasion. A true gem just outside of Augusta for a fresh bakery. I don’t know about you but when I search bakeries in Augusta the only results that Google returns are for Walmart in Hannaford. These are not the types of bakeries I am looking for! Apple Valley is!
Bought an assortment of donuts and OH MY WORD they were excellent. My fiance always raves about this place and we finally got to stop in... well worth the trip! Super friendly folks too and excellent coffee.
I had a peanut butter bar that came from this little bakery yesterday and it was about the dankest and heaviest one I've had. It was the last treat I ate in 2022 and it easily is in the top 3 treats I had for the year.
Wow, such a cute bakery. They sell bread, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, cakes, donuts, coffee, jams, jellies, sauces, honey, marinades, mustards, and handpainted note cards. They also have chowder, chili, Quiches!! I had the Red velvet chocolate frosted donut and a Molasses Glaze donut. I loved the Molasses one!! Reminded me of a gingerbread cake. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're into gingerbread or cinnamon. Liked the Red velvet as well but the molasses one really made an impression. Definitely better than Dunkin Donuts.
Outstanding offerings. Well worth a stop. Sweet and savory offerings are splendid.
Great bakery. Donuts, cookies and Whoopi pies were all excellent. Will definitely be going again. Prices seemed very reasonable.
Best little local bakery. Had some amazing treats.
Absolutely the best molasses cookie I've ever had, and I've had a LOT. Drove by on a day trip out of town, wish I lived closer, should've bought a dozen instead of 2!
Apple Valley bakery is astonishingly humble in appearance but the food here rivals the best anywhere. The Baker/Chef talent is phenomenal. Too many superlatives? Too few to describe her skills. This Maine wonderfully brilliant Baker, Laurel Christophe trained in her Mothers kitchen. We all owe her thanks along with Keely Webb, the bakery owner. These three women make possible for us comfort. Heaven in your mouth and peace in your soul. Visit this summer.
