Reasonable prices and a good selection of food on offer. Much improved seating outside. Toilet facilities and parking at the side of the cafe.
Was over charged, food was expensive and tasteless. Plus card machine was “broken”.
Dreadful! No bacon and egg butty, so had to make do with bacon only. Bread cake was as dry as a bone and the bacon had dried-out too. One star as the coffee was okay. However, no milk in the tea. I can only guess that it’s not a private enterprise. Could be so much better.
It's an okay place to stop for a soda or ice cream on your visit to the park. Some basic food such as chips and bacon sandwiches. Just a decent pitstop, but can be busy in the summer. The outdoor area is quite nice. There also now a bar and food restaurant at the watersports center as a second option at the park which offers beers and snack food with an outdoor area.
Nice food but some of the staff could do with some customer service training. One would assume that to ask for a fork to eat chips with isn’t an unreasonable request yet the lady behind the hatch acted like I’d asked her to feed them to me.
Everything comes in paper cups and boxes and doesn't get recycled the yaris 2020 shame on you guys! Coffee is from a machine and tastes like the machine needs a good clean. Tables and chairs were sticky place just needs a good clean.
Spent nearly £50 in here yesterday on food for large group of my family and had to return to the till to ask woman if my daughter could have marshmallows on her hot chocolate - the woman on the till was very rude to me snapped that she would normally charge for them and the proceeded to literally throw 4 mini marshmallows into the cup bearing in mind they usually put a huge mound on. She didn’t have any protective gloves on either. I know it’s a cafe and I’m not expecting silver service but a basic level of manners and hygiene is just standard for any establishment. Very poor.
Lovely park and lovely place to sit but staff could smile and have a better atmosphere
Not much food on offer could do better even with covid rules. Crisp sausage rolls an tray bake drinks that's all.
Nice chips. Only instant coffee. Brilliant cakes. Warm and lots of regulars so obviously well loved
