About

Valley Veterinary Associates is a full service veterinary hospital dedicated to the health and wellness of our beloved companion animals. www.vvapets.com

Description

Valley Veterinary Associates has been serving clients for over 60 years. The current owner, Dr. Fred Schuler, has been working here for over 20 of those years. We have grown from a small converted house to a state of the art facility designed specifically with your comfort and the care of your pets in mind. While many things have changed over the years, the one thing that has remained consistent is our dedication to providing quality, individualized care and exceptional service to each and every patient and client that we serve.

We are a full service veterinary medical clinic offering wellness, preventative and all stages of life care, from puppies and kittens to geriatrics. We also provide a comprehensive range of surgical, diagnostic and dental care services. Our clean, modern and welcoming facilities feature a vast surgical and dental suite, laser therapy and the support of an in-house lab as well as off-site laboratory for whatever ails your pet. We also offer behavior and nutritional counseling to better manage your pet’s health and happiness.

Our evening and early Saturday hours also make it easier for families to keep their pets healthy and happy. We have had a long time association with the local animal shelter, and many of our doctors and staff have dedicated their time and resources to help local shelter pets so that they can find a loving family of their own.

At Valley Veterinary Associates, we understand that your pet is a part of your family, and we consider you to be a part of ours. We look forward to welcoming you to our office soon and we hope to be able to serve all of your animal health care needs for many years to come!

I recently had to make the difficult decision to put my old cat, Leo, down. VCA made the process quick and easy, they were very caring and up front about the process and let us take all the time we needed with him. I’m glad to have had the support at a moment like that.
Dr. Cotter is the best vet! He is very thorough and personally calls to give me info about my pets! I just found out one of my girls has diabetes. Amber had been amazing with me and dealing with my calls about all things diabetes. Idk what I would do without her knowledge. Everyone is super nice there too. You can't go wrong taking your pets there!
My first and only visit. I felt the Doctor was disinterested in my pet and the cost I felt overcharged.
I had to bring in my Scruffy for his first and final visit. They were upfront yet compassionate with us and allowed us to spend time with him as and after he was sent over the rainbow bridge..after Banfield ignoring my concerns and not giving him a proper diagnosis and treatment. I will be transferring my other pets care to you.
The Best Vet place to take your fur baby...Cybill is 10 years old..they were so kind and understanding...
I want to thank Dr Cotter and all staff for taking great care of Zoe. I also love the picture that was painted with Zoe on the wall. Zoe has brought so much joy in our life and I’m so glad she shared her love with all of you Grateful, Lisa Palermo
Always professional. All the staffers here are pet lovers who treat you and your pet with kind, courteous and attentive service. All of my pets over the years have benefited in many positive ways from Dr. Reith's astute diagnostic abilities and treatment recommendations. Would not trust my pets to any other Vets except in emergencies or specialized surgery.
Alfie always gets love and attentiveness when he's here. Caring staff, never wait very long!
We have been with Valley Veterinary Associates for the past 20 years. This is a wonderful practice and the doctors, vet technicians, and staff give 100 percent to my pet Bailey and my family every time we come here. Whether it's a full sick visit, surgery, a nail trim, shots, or even pharmacy refills for Bailey. The attention to detail that my pet receives every time she comes in for a visit is great I always walk out with assurance that my dog received the best medical attention. I like the fact that every time we walk in to valley vets the entire staff says hello Bailey and knows who she is and Bailey just loves to go there she runs into that building. Excellent health care for your pets.
This place was amazing!! My fur-baby was not behaving normally and as recommended by a few local vets offices i took her herenone of them had openings for awhile and they recommended her being seen sooner vs later. I took her here and they were amazing. I called first for advice on what to do and their process. I called upon arrival, they got some basic info on her and when it was our turn someone came out to get hernot letting people in due to covid. When the lady came out for her, she asked some more questions, said they'd take care of her and be in touch. A little later I got a call from the veterinarian. She asked me to hear in my words what was going on with her and my concerns. After looking at her and running tests she called me back and told me what they found. She gave me advice on what to do and how to look after her. Other than not being allowed to go in and stay with hernot their fault, covid. And I respect it this went very well. They called, talked and communicated as needed. Everyone I talked to and came into contact with polite and friendly! Hopefully she'll stay healthy forever but if not, I'll definitely be taking her here!! HUGH thanks to Valley Vets!! Thats her the next morning!!
