Valley Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in February of 1996 with one specific goal in mind, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of their patients and their patient’s families through the practice of veterinary medicine with care, commitment and compassion. The facility keeps extended business hours, but primary care veterinarian, Lindsay Shreiber, VMD, says, “If we are here, then our doors are open”. Staffed by highly trained, caring professionals. Valley Veterinary Hospital utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, such in house laboratory, digital radiography as well as ultra sound and now is introducing Lite Cure Companion Therapy Laser, a device that helps animal tissue heal faster after surgery as well as a comprehensive staff which includes an on-site certified trainer to “take care of the best things in people’s lives”, says Shreiber.
Lindsay Shreiber, VMD, graduated in 1991 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering. During an extensive externship at Wolf Park, Dr. Shreiber also studied Animal Behavior. Dr. Shreiber founded Valley Vet with the intention of bringing the breadth of his education to each and every case he approaches. Additionally the practice believes strongly in helping rescue groups. Upon visiting the facility, you may meet Willie & Cosmo, two rescued greyhounds. Dr. Shreiber fell in love with greyhounds when he adopted Mickey, who introduced him to the grace and beauty exhibited by the canine as well as the intuitive way that the dog seemed to understand people. Dr. Shreiber continues to work with several canine and feline rescue groups to this day. The Shreiber family includes two dogs, four cats and two chinchillas.
