Fire cracker shrimp is highly recommended for appetizers. So good, I can actually have 2 servings.... I had San Diego burger, I never had taste a burger with cilantro. For me,  I never thought it taste so good with avocado, red onion, tomato, cheese, etc.... also, I love their fries, tastes so good and so crispy. Lastly, we had chocolate cake for dessert. So decadent, so good. Have a nice day. Enjoy!

Here with sort of an update review on San Diego’s counties oldest, loosest and best casino. Been a loyal club card member for almost 20 years there has seen lots of changes, upgrades, new faces and original team members, have had good and bad times even discouraged to try other casinos  over the years but overall always return back to Valley View it’s still a great place to go. First I’d like start with the many places to eat several new restaurants, their world famous lobster buffet has gotten many improvements to mention the new system as far as wait times to get in the buffet, the service is fantastic and as always the food is great and delicious! I just have to mention several servers Lucy, Linda , JJ , Sal J , Millet, Sally and Cynthia  in the buffet are fantastic, very efficient really take good care you… Patties and Pints is another restaurant, new outstanding menu, service and hospitality you have to experience. The hotel has always been a favorite..always seen like home so comfy, clean and secure it’s a 5-star stay…Oh and the complimentary breakfast at The Cafe is so delicious, service is great. If you like some refreshments they have four bars now, the main stage bar with the entertainment stage so yes lots of music going on. Valley view does have a very large non-smoking section for the non smokers. As far as your favorite play over 2000 slots and table games and there are lots winners which at the beginning of my review as being the loosest casino in San Diego county with great rewards. The atmosphere is nice, team members care give you good service…So if you are looking for a  good time, good food, music, winnings playing your favorite and a comfortable stay. My ultimate suggestion would be Valley View Casino & resort I would highly recommend Enjoy!!

As always the Black & Blue restaurant does not disappoint.  One of my favorites and if you get the chance sit in the bar and eat.  The service is awesome.

The casino is okay, I do not gamble so just tag along with the wife.  Very clean Casino, too much smoking areas and not enough Non-Smoking areas.  Parking is a little wild, people driving way to fast & dangerous in the parking garage.  We miss the old Valet Service, the new one is not what we prefer so we park ourselves.  The restaurant Pints & Patties has GREAT FOOD & GREAT SERVICE!  I highly recommend eating here.  Pints & Patties Gets FIVE 5 STARS!!!

I would rate this 5 Star, if I didn't have to wait to eat. This "new" Buffet experience is not ideal for those who simply just want to enjoy a buffet. The new process is to sit, look at a menu and order.... My family wanted soup and salad, I did not, I came to eat, having to sit here, watching my family eat soup and salad as I wait for my food is torture.... I miss being able to simply get up and get my own food. Also, the portions are very small, and waiting 15 minutes for every plate rather than being able to simply get my food and enjoy is ridiculous.

Wonderful experience. We dined in The Black and Blue Room. The food was delicious. That chef really knows how to cook the perfect steak, the sides cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this dining experience. We had the three course meal. They start you off with a little tray of finger food. Then you pick from a   variety of warm fresh breads with different variety of butter. Soup or salad, entree with 6 to choose from, and four desserts to choose from we decided on Baked Alaska a mouth watering concoction of perfection. Our server Mel made our dinner a delicious vacation.

Wow what a nice casino. Saw many advertisements but believe me it's better to visit in person. Great staff, especially Marcus at players club was very knowledgeable and helpful.  Lots of great and new machines. We had a GREAT ENJOYABLE TIME.  Looking forward to our return trip. Hoping the comps for playing for 7 hours are awesome?

Haven't been here for a couple of years. They changed a lot of the casino very nice. We went on a Sunday evening. My husband decided he wanted to have dinner. We didn't have a reservation but went into the Black & Blue Restaurant to see if there was an opening. The hostesse said yes, they did. OMG, this place is amazing!!! You have to try the Cheese Cake it's so delicious. I promise it's like nothing you have ever had!!!! Can't wait to go back for dinner again.

The best luck I ever had gambling was here. They gave me a free bluetooth speaker on my first visit and lots of free play money coupons for food and other amenities there at the casino. It's clean, not too crowded, and employees are friendly had lots of fun. I only brought forty bucks with me to play and I stayed for Hours. I did Not win huge but I won enough to keep playing for hours & Went home with 100 bucks!! I'll be back!!

Nice place to get away for the day. Wish they kept more of the older games. More food and resturant options
