We now offer training to prepare individuals to take the certified nursing assistant (CNA) examination in Oregon. Our Nursing Assistant Level 1 course is available at different times and days to meet the needs of our students. Please contact us by phone or email for additional information.
We also offer a mentoring program for online students to keep them going and connect them with others in their program. We are going to work with students to decrease their cost, decrease the time spent in the program, and keep them on track to complete their goals.
In addition to our mentoring program which includes a weekly group meeting and tutoring session we provide one on one tutoring or group tutoring for those in need of additional assistance in a particular subject area. Our tutoring services are available for general studies and nursing specific topics.
Another important area that we are providing services in is test preparation services for NCLEX PN/RN or other specific examinations. We will be adding CPNE workshops within the next several months to prepare students in the Excelsior College program for their clinical experience.
We also gladly offer CPR certification courses for Healthcare Providers or lay Rescuers through AHA BLS and HeartSaver programs. We have scheduled classes, or you can schedule your group for a class in our facility or yours at your convenience. Our program hopes to expand to include additional certifications over time. If there is a particular certification you or your organization are looking to participate in or would like to see offered please let us know.
Within the next several months we hope to expand our offerings to include NA and CNA 2 programs. Stay tuned for additional information as we move forward with this.
Free WiFi is available with most services and we offer a study and work area with computers available for use.
