Vaqueros Night Club de Hollywood

Place is fun. No waitress around you have to get your own drinks. You can make reservations but aside from that, it’s first come first serve. Employees are not well trained. I tried to get in with my friend purchased tickets and no ID was requested there was issues there. I didn’t get a risk band before coming in, no one gave me one so when I tried buying a shot for the birthday woman they wouldn’t sell me one. I had to go outside and get one, I had a beer on hand and the front was upset by it but no one said I couldn’t come out with my drink on hand. It was a bit of a mess tbh. Will I come back? Yes. It’s not my fault employees are not well trained, but I had a good time. I just personally didn’t like the no waitress part. Also they have two bathrooms available one on each end of the big dance floor but only one bathroom was open. There was many people in the place and only one bathroom open and available. Imagine the lines. Not too cool.

My LA parents were married at the Florentine Gardens in LA, Hollywood on February 7th, today in 1948, My Dad grew up in LA, Hollywood & West Hollywood & My Mom grew up in Southwest LA & Their 1st home was nearby on St. George St. & Tracy across from the iconic John Marshall High School where many LA movies & TV shows were filmed & My Dad was an LA stage actor at this time in plays at The Geller Theatre Workshop On Wilshire Blvd near Fairfax & at the 'Wilshire Ebell Theatre' on W 8th St. & Lucerne still in operation in Feb 2023

I went here for a birthday and it was 80$ just for the entry which is absurd. Bathrooms are dirty. Not to mention, the drinks are wayyy over priced and the security are trashy just like the music. One time, I was on the couch with my girlfriend and since the music was loud I was really close to her so she can hear me talk. I was kind of hugging her from the side talking in her ear Then a security guard came over and asked me what I was doing because he thought I was harassing or erotically touching my GIRLFRIEND. He said “you can’t be doing that this isn’t your house”? I said I wasn’t doing anything because we were just chilling on the couch. He said “this isn’t you house”. Like okay??? Lol Then he looked at me like he wanted to kick me out simply because I wasn’t phased but the other female security guard said to just let me be so he didn’t kick me out. I don’t even know why he even considered kicking me out I feel like he was he was simply being petty because he probably spends his time looking at the girls in the club without getting one. I couldn’t stand the big head security guard, let alone the whole club. Was my first and my LAST time here.

I think My folks may have been married Here on Feb 7,1948 & My Hollywood Ca Grandparents' would have made the arrangements, both my folks passed in 06 & 09 so I can't verify it now as well as all my Aunts & Uncles but I believe my mother mentioned this Hollywood Club decades ago per where they were married.

Pretty fun for 18+. Girls are so friendly in the bathroom. Plus it's not too cramped. Lots of room and places to sit. Just be sure to arrive by 9:30 if you don't have the code for skip the line!:

I used to go to Florentine garden one year ago. First time I saw promoters nice to their guest. Security aren't strict compare to another clubs or bars. As a yelper member and google review , I will tell some facts being coming to this club because I have a promoter with me but I realized right now, a lot promoter who works there became rude and mistreated gonna let their guest to have fun. moreover, there are a promoter took advantage me and told me to not tell anyone. Then later this afternoon one promoter complains that they were harassed but no ones harm them or bullying. This they fault as well, they let other promoter took pictures and take advantage rather guest or promoter can be rude. In my opposite opinion, the bartenders and the two manager are nice to me. But promoters and photographer must educated little bit and train hospitality them as well how treat and respect their guest a lot. If don't want to know other guest message me and give their opinions to tell. Not promoter make complaints act like they are harassed or stalk. online such as Instagram and makes stories to make one guest. down. Promoter gonna lose their guest if they continue act weirds and, mistreated and disrespect. I'm not here to give make complains, I'm here to make own opinions for one year gone there. I would not comeby if the promoters are disrespectful. But securities and bartenders are will continuing to be kind to their guest. Thanks and Happy new year.

In the DJ business world we refer to this type of club as a starter club. It is an 18 years old and over club. If you are over 21 they will give you a wrist band at the door and you can purchase and drink alcohol but don't even think about trying to share it with your underage friends. Since this is an 18+ club, the crowd is very much on the young side. There are all sorts of inherent problems with 18+ clubs. One of the most obvious problems when you look around this club is that the club itself doesn't need to try. There are very few 18+ clubs in the area and if you are between the ages of 18 & 21 your options of where to go to dance with friends on the weekend is severely limited unless you are hip to the underground rave seen. The owners know this and they know that they really don't have to put forth much of an effort to keep their young clientele coming back. After all, where else are they going to go? Minimal effort and minimal dollars invested in the club over the years has taken a huge toll. There are probably clientele coming to this club that were not yet born the last time this place had a makeover and it looks it. 80's trash comes to mind when you look around this place. A slightly more immature crowd just adds to the trashy feel and fights are a frequent occurrence. Once most people turn 21 they gladly ditch this place for a real night club which tends to keep the age and maturity level pretty young. Since this is a starter club that exists only to line the pocket of its owners, don't expect skilled and experienced employees as well. That is not to say that there are not good bartenders or DJ's working here but just like for the underage crowd, this club is really just a stepping stone for those that have talent and as they establish themselves and start to get a good reputation, they move on to bigger and much better clubs. This in turn leaves employee's that are not as skilled or who just don't care anymore to continue to do a half ass job. In short, if you are over 21 and have no reason to come here your friends are all over 21 as well, go elsewhere for your weekend dance club fix. Anywhere else will be a vast improvement.

This is an 18 and over club on Fridays and 21 and over on Saturday and 18 and over on Sundays, is huge, lot's of space to dance. Is not the most modern place but when there is over 800 people having fun the magic happens when you go to a big mega club, is just fun.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. They close at 2am and it takes two hours to get in so you'll have at most an hour to dance. It's a dingy place and it costs 20 to park. We waited in line for an hour and they only let people in the "vip" line are N.
