Since 1933 The Vashon Sportsmen's Club has been a community landmark in its natural setting at the heart of Vashon Island. Its rustic lodge is well known, for activities and events, and spacious grounds.
We needed to go to a range to calibrate the rifled barrel we just put on my wife's 20 guage shotgun. She has an "antlerless" tag for Vashon deer and we needed to set the scope. We contacted a friend who put us in touch with Mike, a sportsman club officer. Though not members, he told us to join the the shotgun group the next day Sunday who would be shooting clays on the range. He provided a name and assured us that they would helpful. Mike was right! Though the gentlemen he set us up to meet was ill, the group there was very accomodatig and helpful. They stayed late that morning for us. Seems like a great place with great people. We plan on joining the club in October when at 65 years of age a years membership is only $60.00! Awesome!
