I appreciate having a hospital so near by, but it has changed. As in years prior you were not waiting for hours in the emergency room. I feel that the prior physicians where more genuine and better staffed with more nurses and doctors. It does seem to the naked eye that they have cut back on staff. I hate that so many physicians have left Selma. I wish that this historical place could be revamped. This place good be beautiful if the people in charge would make more of an effort. We need resources just like any other city. A lot of good people still live here. We just need to eliminate the bad.
On June 3, 2023 my husband had a fall at work that put him in the hospital. We were told to follow up with his primary physician to have an MRI. 6/8/23-From that visit his workman comp was denied from him stating that he doesn't listen to him won't take his medicine. He Jaisingh Rajput was truly out of sort that day never seen that attitude from him before. That was our last appt there. Why would he pay for medicine and not use it as expenses as it is. He went over his duty.
The doctors manners and showed interest in my medical needs were demonstrated by pertinent questions about me and my well being was one of a kind in situation. No other doctors made me feel that as a his patient he he really cared about me
Big thank you to the ER staff at VRMC. My husband was seen today 11/6/22. From the time we walked in the door everyone was so nice, and professional. Everything was clean and we were in and out in 2hrs. I know it hasn’t had the best reputation in the past but if you haven’t been in the past couple months you should reevaluate because things are definitely changing around there and we could not have asked for better care.
Although I was hesitant about visiting for my daughter I wasn’t disappointed! The thoroughness and transparency of everything was amazing! We came in needing relief and left with relief!
My 6 year old daughter was recently admitted into this hospital. We came through the ER because my daughter was showing signs of the flu. My daughter has asthma so this was extremely scary for us. She ended up having pneumonia. This was our first time going to this hospital and everyone there was excellent. The nurses, doctors, even the cleaning crew were all so friendly and so helpful. It was really just a great atmosphere and a great place to take my baby. The doctor's and nurses really went above and beyond to make sure my baby was taken care of. They were also very concerned with comfortable I really appreciate everything they did! I live an hour away from this hospital but it was definitely worth the drive!! Great place, great people.
I was out of blood pressure medicine and didn't have time to get a doctor appointment. I went to Vaughan Regional, arrived at 1 pm, saw the doctor yesterday 2 pm, got my prescription and was out the door. Everyone I encountered was exceptionally friendly, professional a d treated me as a fellow human with total respect. I would recommend this medical facility to anyone staying in the area and needing medical assistance.
My son should not have had to go to ICU if the nurses on the 2 floor was watching the monitors and checking on him. Now we have to wait til he get better to transfer him back to FL so he can get better care. Lord continue to cover him. Than they have nerve not to let his mother stay with him over night to prevent from something else happening to him. Who can we contact to change that or get him moved ASAP.
It would be great if they had real doctors and not all those in training students and so slow but it ok because it the only hospital in town
While I was not happy about my mother going to the emergency room and being sent home very quickly and then having to call an ambulance as soon as she got home to return her to the hospital I understand this was a situation with a 92 year old lady. After she was admitted her care was definitely 5 star in the ICU. Her doctor Dr. Baker and her nurse Kristina Averette were the best ever!! My mom passed with as much dignity as possible and we were treated with the utmost care since they knew what was coming. I could not ask for a better place and an easier passing for my mom.
