This place used to be the best; I’d recommend them to everyone. For the past couple years it has been getting worse and worse. I really hoped they’d fix it but it’s just completely different now: - They don’t return voice messages. - They changed their policy so now they won’t give online prescriptions so you have to buy medication directly from them. Their costs are wildly higher than Chewy. They finally agreed to give me a hard copy of the prescription but wrote for it to expire same day so it was expired before the pharmacy could receive it in the mail. - I brought my older dog in for a routine checkup and they refused to look at the dog in front of me. They took him to the back not for shots, just to review after I had expressed that I was not comfortable with that. I hadn’t met the doctor as they’re ever changing. Afterward, the doctor told me that they do it because they can do a more in depth review of him Why would it be more in depth in the back w/out me? but she also said he was stressed and didn’t let her check everything. He would have been calmer if he wasn’t taken to the the back and she would have been able to check everything. This used to be the best vet clinic and I really hope they reprioritize and make the service about the clients again.
Good veterinary staff, but they LACK FORETHOUGHT/FORESIGHT. Dog was seen for an oral issue and advised the blood and urine testing would be required prior to surgery. They took the blood, but didn't even attempt to get the urine and sent her home with a kit to collect the urine. Long story short urine collection with the tiny cup they provided is all but impossible. So, now they want me to bring the dog in again traumatizing the dog and inconveniencing me due to their limited hours. Overall service: C- for lack of forethought.
After taking in an older dog from a local rescue, we tried VCA cottage because of a coupon and they were AWESOME! We didn’t really know the new dog yet, or if she’d had any positive/negative experiences at a vet, but the staff and doctor at VCA cottage were extremely patient and slow with her so she felt really comfortable and had a great experience! Her second trip there, she marched on in like she owned the place! We are very pleased with their thoroughness and kindness, particularly during these trying covid-times.
These people are more wonderful than I ever expected. They have great communication and care, and I can't recommend them enough.
The best vet hospital ever. I live in Dixon ca and drive 41 miles to bring my Dazey here. They are Caring, compassionate and inexpensive. I don't feel like we are rushed in and rushed out. The doctors are very thorough with examinations and explain everything in detail. Very friendly staff. Love them. If i could give more than 5 stars, i would!!!
Hi My cat has an appointment at 4 pm ~i get there early, phone and let them know I'm there. I wait 45 minutes in a hot car with the cat. Never once asked if the cat is alright - need anything. Then the doctor must be new 3rd one since I've taken her there asks or rather tells me my cat is fat and needs flea medicine. Yes I know the cat is a little cubby and no I don't want flea medicine. The staff member comes out with the cat and flea medicine. Drop the cat off at moms house do so errands get a phone call while in traffic - you need to pay for the flea medicine. I say I'm not home stuck in traffic well call us before six......grrrr Do a fecal test - let them know I'm coming phone rings 10+ times call again before someone picks up .....seriously????? Wow !!
I ABSOULTELY LOVE THIS VET CLINIC! I have never had an issue with any of the 3 vets I have interacted with. When I call they can normally get our dog in within 24 hours. They listen to what you have to say about your pet. You can tell they all enjoy there job.
My main vet is great. She always tells me what I need and doesn't get pushy. Sometimes I don't have enough money for everything so she always helps me prioritize and doesn't get judgmental. But there is another vet there that I've seen only a couple of times and she isn't helpful at all.
Tried to make an appointment for my dog kept getting told immediately when they answered the phone we didn’t order any pizza 5 times and hung up on me didn’t even get a word in
Good. No clue if they are closed every other day now or if they’re saying those are the only days that have changed hours
