The staff at fairleigh are superb! I made appointments for my cat Rico and they helped me balance all his needs, got his shots up to date, fixed and chipped within a matter of a few visits. I saw dr Bailey and she took the best care with my new fur baby! Highly recommend vca fairleigh on bardstown rd
They are always very kind to our 2 dogs. One of which has a lot of anxiety and can be pretty temperamental. Aside from regular checkups/vaccine. Our vet has greatly helped us manage the other dogs skin allergies without apoquel for now. They are also always ready to give us a call if we reach out with any questions. You can tell that the staff here really cares for animals.
I went in to get a mircofilaria test as my dog has recently tested positive for heartworm, I was rushed in and out with no explanation of what was going on or what next steps would be even though I could hear the tech being told to go over such with me. I normally have great experiences with this clinic but they severely mishandled this situation considering the severely of disease we were addressing. I will be looking into a new vet clinic.
Got my kitty in within an hour of calling for a problem she was scheduled a week later for. Dr.Neat listened to all my concerns & after a long no sleep night up with my pet, sure I was rambling, lol. After Squish was thoroughly checked, etc.,Brandon made sure I understood all the homework & everyone on staff was great! Very grateful!
I have contemplated on whether or not to write this because I’m not one to complain, but I am unhappy with my experience the day of, and continue to be disappointed. I had my 2 cats groomed here a while ago, and let me begin with signing them in. The person working the front desk marked one of them as a “sick” visit. I made sure that they were aware there was no sickness, and it made me wary right off the bat of what they thought they needed to do with them. Fast forward to when I picked them up. I was given a note that said only one of the two cats might have follicle damage and bruising. Granted they both did have mattes even though we do our best to keep them brushed and cut the mattes out between grooming. We have a second long haired cat that also had mattes, so why did he not have bruising or follicle damage? I assume it’s because the black cat is a lot more difficult to bathe and cut. Which leads me to my next point, neither cat had a water bath, which I paid for and expected to take place. So here we are several months later and my poor kitty’s hair hasn’t grown back yet the other cat is back to being as fluffy as ever. I spoke to the previous groomer we switched to some place closer when we moved, huge mistake and she said she had no idea why he would have any bruising at all. She also said follicle damage could cause his hair to grow back lighter or not at all. I might understand follicle damage on a neglected animal but this is a very, very loved kitty. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I will be driving out of my way to go back to the old groomers, they took way better care of my babes and are going to help me get his hair to grow back.
I used to take my dog here when I was a poor college student and my dog had a mass cell tumor that ruptured. I was desperate to save my dog with little to no income. This office has some of the sweetest technicians, who remembered my beagle each and every time we entered the door. They greeted us and ran to get other techs from the back to say hi. Dr. Hope gave my dog the care she urgently needed and gave me the reassurance I needed in that time. She was the absolute best. I remember this office so fondly, even when I couldn’t get in to see Dr. Hope, Dr. Neat was also very awesome with my dog and treated her with the same love and kindness I would expect out of her vet. I moved too far from this office, which is why I had to stop going unfortunately. They are top notch and I would suggest them to anyone and I do to this day. I actually had to call their office recently to request some bloodwork for my dog and they answered before the phone could ring once and they had my pet’s whole history forwarded to me within 5 minutes. They are just continuously the best. If you live close enough to them, go!
Completely satisfied with our 1st visit here! All staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! So happy to have them in my neighborhood! From veterinary care to grooming! Feel comfortable with the care Zen received.
Our cat Gabby had a lot of matting on her back.... The groomer was able to take of her wonderfully! They are very kind and love what they do. Just to let you know they do accept Care Credit Card
I started going to this vet when I adopted my new dog. Unfortunately shortly after he had an issue that required major surgery. The staff and doctors were amazing. They helped me through this nerve racking process. They always called to check up. They were always so nice and gave the sense that they truly care about Yuuki'snew dog welfare. I would highly recommend VCA Farleigh to anyone.
Went today with our 2 dogs and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Kelly and Dr. Neat. Both were beyond professional and patient with our dogs. Vet trips are alot like the dentist for me and are never fun, but they made this trip completely stress-free and did amazing at their jobs. Everyone of the staff we interacted with was great and I would recommend this place to anyone I care about. We won’t be going to any other place for our animals ever again!
