I had a very poor experience with VCA Pet Doctor Animal Hospital, Richardson. First, after being contacted by VCA for an appointment and setting an appointment, when I arrived they didn't not have me scheduled and I had to come back the next day. Second, my appointment was supposed to be complimentary due to adopting my new kitten from Operation Kindness. I was told to bring a stool sample, but never told I would have to pay for any testing. I never agreed to any testing nor told of any results. However, I have received a bill for $150. I will not be using any VCA animal hospital, ever, in the future.
I want to thank all of the staff that was absolutely amazing and so caring. We had to put Our Brandy to sleep and the staffs concern was incredible.Dr. Manley thank you so much for being so kind. We’re still healing from Brandy’s loss and it will take awhile. We did find a new vet though and we will never go to anyone else. Thank you all of you so much. God Bless All of You

The entire staff I came in contact with were very nice and kind. They know what they are doing and seem to love what they do. Dr. Sharp is so wonderfully kind and soft spoken. She put my mind at ease and helped me make the right decision for my baby. I truly truly appreciated your process of helping me to put my baby to rest. I love that you allowed us be there and hold her in my arms as he slept. Thank you. God bless.
They don't charge office visit for new clients only. Download coupon. Everyone there was very friendly and told me everything they were going to do than everything I needed to do at home for my cat Gordon. My cat Gordon even liked them he sat there while they examined him and purred while they were doing it. Usually he puts up a fuss and cries when we take him to the vet.
These people were amazingly kind and supportive of us having to Euthanize our senior dog. They let us be present when no one else would even consider it. They have is as much time as we needed with her. It meant so much to us to be with our dog as she passed over the bridge. Their kindness will be forever remembered!!!
This place is a money scam, they’re taking advantage of my parents who want to help the family dog, they went in for a consultation bc he has a huge lump that more than likely has to be removed surgically, poor dog can’t even walk anymore and these clowns made my dog go thru a bunch of tests and didn’t even look at the thing he went in for! 1k down the toilet and the dog is still limping/having a hard time walking. They do not care about your pets or your concerns.
Took my pup to see the vet here. I had a coupon for a free check up. They said it was for new customers only...i dont ever recall coming here...and they looked it up and it was like 10yrs ago for a bunny . wow...so i couldnt use this coupon when its sepcifically for dogs and cats only? So i was basically mad at the receptionost lady or whtevr she is at the front. The vet and nurses were nice. the service was really expensive. did a skin test. got a shampoo. so pills. for 210.00 im a first time dog owner so i dunno if that is reasonable but i still thought it was too high. but id do anything for my furbaby.
WARNING ‼ DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE Save your time and money. They deserve 0 stars. I’m actually in the process of taking Legal action against this Spring Valley rd location. They over charge you for visits, and they will tell you your pet need additional shots, when not necessary, to scam you out of more money. Samantha- the technical support worker, was very rude and unprofessional. I had a couple of questions about the charges I’ve received, and she got very hostile, aggressively shouting to me..TWICE … “ Do you not understand me!?” , As if I was an incompetent child. I asked her if I could know her last name and she said NO. I’ve spent over 400 dollars on vaccinations, and my puppy is still not Fully vaccinated.
Lady kept rolling her eyes when I came in to get information and the doctor seemed very rude herself when passing by, I would not trust my dog in their care.
