VCA Pike Creek Animal Hospital

Owning two dogs is expensive but I have had excellent care both medical and boarding for over 4 years. They are so nice to my two dogs, my dogs get excited to go and wag their tails the whole way. Would recommend it to anyone who wants very good medical care and trustworthy boarding care.

We brought our puppy here bc she was a rescue from the scpa and you get a $250 credit. What a mistake. she was not feeling well so they took X-rays. After the X-rays they came in frantic saying she has bad ammonia. We contacted the spca and they said to bring her to their vet to get checked out. The vet here told us that the only chance of our puppy living is to take her to one of their local ERs Where she would most likely be there 2-3 days at 2k a night. They said she doesn’t have a chance at the spca vet. After taking her to the spca vet they monitored her for a few hours. Called us to come get her and sent her home with medications and instructions. After just 12 hours she’s doing awesome. I am not sure if in vet school if they talk about etiquette but they should. Saying our puppy is going to die if we don’t spend 2k a night in front of my daughter is a tad overboard. Stay away.

We used their boarding service and added extra attention service, and our dog loved it. They sent daily pics and communicated clearly and promptly of an issue that developed but was mitigated.

I have been going to Pike Creek Animal Hospital for at least 5 years, and every time I've gone they've been very helpful and have taken great care of my cat. I recently adopted another cat and unfortunately had to have all her teeth out due to stomatitis, they took great care of her too and she's doing better than ever. I see people complaining about the prices, and I don't know if there are cheaper places out there, but pets are a big responsibility and sometimes that means spending more money then you'd expect to. Cats ain't cheap, but I am, so if I thought their prices were unfair I'd have looked for another vet by now.

Staff and Doctors are knowledgeable. Always follow up, return calls, answer all questions, and are passionate and caring.

Great staff. Couldn't do into the visit with my dog because of social distancing. The staff called me on my cell each step of the way to let me know what was happening. My pup even tried to go back in with the tech

I started taking my cats to this place in 1994 and had always been impressed with their professionalism and compassion. Ever since they were sucked up by the sleazy VCA, I wouldn't take a rat in for "care" at this disgraceful excuse for a veterinary facility. I notice that virtually all the vets who treated my animals in the past have fled this practice like lemmings and no wonder. The final straw was a horrible experience where I was given conflicting information and an arm twisting to opt for $700 X-rays for my cat's respiratory issues despite the fact that they kept insisting his prognosis was "extremely grave" a pronouncement made with absolutely no compassion. He ended up living another year, and the X-rays proved completely useless. I can't imagine anyone would be so foolhardy as to patronize this dump where the only mission is to rake in cash. Disgusting.
