Vegan East

I've been going to Vegan East for over a year now, ever since I developed a dairy allergy. All of their menu items are delicious and I love that they are featuring more gluten free options. This was my first time ordering a cake and it was beautiful and delicious!

Vegan East is incredible. Fresh baked goods, cookies, cupcakes, quiche, all plant based. Absolutely delicious, and great for a bite or a special order. Quietly nestled in White Bear Lake.

I wish I could eat here every day!!! Seriously the best cupcakes! Also their other food is amazing! A must try is their chicken salad sandwich and broccoli cheese soup! Their White Bear shop is cute and cozy. The owners are super friendly also. :

Hours at this location are limited so check before you go. Favorites are the s’mores bar and caramel roll. Vegan East has another location and you can find their treats at other local restaurants too!

We ordered the rose cake with lemon and raspberry filling for my daughter's birthday and my 80 year old parents couldn't tell that it was vegan. Delicious. We also tried both the cinnamon rolls and the gluten free cinnamon rolls which were also fantastic. So glad to have vegan and GF options in White Bear!

I followed Vegan East for months on Instagram before they launched their brick and mortar shop earlier this year .. Dreaming of what the vegan cakes and cupcakes would taste like. Well trust me when I say you will never know these desserts didn't include dairy. They are moist and delicious. A dream come true for a Vegan or person who eats a plant based diet. We went there during White Bear Lake's Fall Frenzy, and we got there later in the morning, so a few of the main dishes were sold out. We were able to get some food still, and their broccoli and cheddar soup was delicious. The Fall Spice cupcake was the best cupcake I've ever tried, it was light and fluffy and the frosting was perfect. I'd eat a whole dozen of them. We'll definitely have to head back and try some of the other food options!

Amazing vegan bakery! Pre-order available pon website and variety of in-store items. Great cupcakes and cinnamon rolls! The rolls go quickly sometimes! Get in early!

I received cupcakes for my birthday and oh my gosh - they were honestly the best cupcakes I have ever had - and better than my wedding cake! I had the cookie dough cupcake flavor and my husband had the cookies and cream cupcake and they were insanely delicious.

This was easily the greatest chocolate chip cookie I've ever had in my entire life. I cannot wait to go back and have some of their cupcakes! Their tea selection was great too, though I forgot to order one to try. There's always next time! Update: I tried their "vanilla thrilla" rooibos tea and it was exceptional. Their cheesecake is very decadent, although would be a bit better with some fruit toppings added which one could always do at home. Their cinnamon rolls are good, but would be even better with more frosting the gluten free ones appeared to have more frosting, I will try those next time! Another update: They added more frosting to their cinnamon rolls! Their gluten free vegan chocolate chip cookies are somehow EVEN BETTER than their vegan chocolate chip cookies that contain gluten! Also they had some brownie samples recently and they were stellar. Vegan East truly has some of the most talented bakers in the state. I would be confident ordering anything they have. They have a gluten free raspberry-chocoate cupcake that is absolutely to die for!
