Beautiful old venue that is fully restored with beautiful painted ceilings and intricate detail. It is however an older establishment and not ADA compliant. There is no elevator to reach the balcony seats. We were not told there was a bathroom upstairs in the balcony level inside the sanctuary, would have been helpful to know so we didn't have to go down to the basement level. Super long line as there are only 4 stalls. Balcony was phenomenal and fully worth the price. Super elegant and comfortable with service to your seat. The margaritas were delicious and a good alcohol to mix ratio. We had the nachos and they were pretty great as well. Excellent, unobstructed view of the stage and a very intimate feeling. Very enjoyable concert experience, would definitely return.
Fantastic venue! Very pleasant staff who handle public very well. Security kept the atmosphere and musicians safe. I went there for a concert. Crowd was very rowdy and fun. Security was everywhere but did not interfere with the atmosphere. Overall, you can tell The Belasco is very organized and staff are well trained a very nice. Overall a great experience. Five stars
This place was of the hook. The CY fest was incredible full of legendary punk rock bands like, The Virus, The Skeptix, The Unseen and Devotchkas. Man what a memorable day for all of us to enjoy and remember!
Never been here before and was super impressed by the architecture and design of the place. Super neat!! We saw the aquabats and it was a really good time! We loved the lounges that you could duck into if you needed a break from the show.
Lovvvvvvvved this theater. We are avid concert goers and we came to this spot to watch Daniel Caesar who had one of the simplest set ups. No band. The music and his voice the entire time. Worth it. If you’re a die hard fan- go GA TICKETS. I don’t know- depends on the artist but what I know now is I would definitely buy the VIP Balcony seats. It’s intimate, spaces and guarded : Enjoy the arts. Don’t let a service fee stop you from enjoying your favorite artist and honestly- I go to shows alone, too. We currently have 15 year old twins and their love for music and artistry is admirable and we are the same- so it’s been a joy to have a mutual interest- get into their music and give them a taste of ours :
One of my favorites venues in Los Angeles. Nice place! Amazing sound. When an artist that I like play here, I will be too.
Very cool and intimate venue. I recommend getting there early to get a good standing view. Everyone is super nice and helpful there! Parking was not an issue since there were many parking lots around the area ranging from $20-$30 *flat rate
This is a beautiful venue located in Downtown LA with lots of nearby pay parking lots to chose from. Plenty of standing space inside for concerts. The sound quality of the room was amazing. There is an upstairs, but it was not accessible for this event. Restrooms were clean and maintained. The entrance lines to the venue were kept organized. Drinks and merch were available for purchase at the entrance. My first time going to a concert and I chose to see Tarja perform with Chaoseum opening the event. Both live performances were amazing and the entire crowd was a having a great time.
Loved seeing one of my favourite band here and the building is stunning. But was very abashed by the organisation of the event. However, the prices for drinks were ridiculous. A beer for triple the price as normal… they are literally making 500% on this. Same for the wine, they server the bottomshelf stuff for exorbitant prices. And then you think they’d serve it with a smile. The girl with the colourful hair definitely looked like her being physically hurt her. The abundance of staff overall was ridiculous, most literally just stood there doing nothing. Especially at the front. So, I’d say, fire 2/3 of the staff and reduce the prices. Btw, the security people especially the girl by the stage was really kind.
The place is nice and spacious, but not spacious enough for a sold-out event. They need to put a limit on the amount of people allowed inside during events. There was absolutely no more standing room, even the lobby area was crowded, and they were still letting people in.
