I wish the servers were nicer! Moved to the area three years ago, tried it and had the worst server with an attitude we really ever experienced. I wish I knew her name, she was an older gal. But anyway, we went there as we celebrated the closing on our new home down the street by trying out the local restaurants. Haven't returned until today 3 years later Decided to give it another try so I placed an order for pickup! The lady on the phone was so nice until she asked if I wanted to leave a tip for picking up my order. I said no thank you. I have worked in a restaurant for 5 years previously and never expect people to tip for pick-up orders. If they did, it was a nice gesture but never expected. I got an attitude and promptly hung up after I declined to leave a tip for a PICK-UP order. The Mexican Food is VERY bland - this is an Americanized Mexican Restaurant however, they don't claim to be authentic so that's okay. It seems to be a healthier alternative anyway! However, we won't be returning due to customer service. I'm thinking this is more for the older folk type of crowd I guess. I hope if you have meetings with the staff that they can try to be nicer in the future to their customers...To add, the bartender was a super friendly guy though.
Our waitress was really good, the reason for the lower service rating was because the hostess took forever to acknowledge us and come take us to our seats. I originally thought this was a one off thing, but then noticed it happened to a couple of other groups of people. I've never had that issue there in the past. They weren't busy either.
Wanted to try a Mexican place we've never been to. Definitely the most American Mexican food I've eaten. The food was bland and left much to be desired. Margaritas are good and our server was fast and friendly but we probably won't be back.Food: 1/5
The food and service at Ventura's were great the two times I've gone since moving to the area. The staff is friendly and inviting, the service is speedy, and the food is delightful. My only note is that on the crazy-busy nights, it seems to be a bit understaffed -- but the staff that *is* on hand works their tails off to ensure that customers continue to get stellar service. I hope these hard workers get some relief with more staff during busy times, they deserve a break!
Went for a Bday dinner on a Saturday night 25 people without reservations. They seated us within 30mins. The waitress was AMAZING! She served the whole party alone and orders were correct hot and fresh! She didn't skip a beat made sure we were all fed and had full beverages without having to ask for anything or wait! Food tasted amazing and the prices are good too! Thanks for making our night so fun!
I would never order a taco salad. It was lettuce, meat, red and yellow peppers, onion. I was not given any dressing or sour cream. And when I asked for sour cream i was charged $.99. I would think when you pay $13 for a salad they would not charged for sour cream ir dressingFood: 3/5
My family and I had by far the worst dining experience we have ever had. When walked in it was freezing cold so the entire time we were uncomfortable. We were a table of 4, given two menus, when asked for more menus we got told that they were out of menus. The waitress got an attitude with how long it was taking us to choose what we wanted to eat since we had to take turns with the menus. The food tasted horrible. My daughter's absolutely hated her menu so told the waitress and we were told that she could get something else but she was charging us for the meal she didn't eat. We will definitely never be going there again.
I wouldn't give this place any ratings if I could. just focus on alcohol or be a bar sheesh...the quantity & quality of the food isn't adding up to the price. I see y'all make sure to get the customers drunk enough to not notice the lack of seasoning and 3 pieces of chicken strips yall give out per the meal. on the behalf of our business we will NEVER eat here again. disappointed at it finest.
I have heard a lot of good things about Venturas and people hyped it up so I was expecting an authentic Mexican eatery. The food I had was good but they offer the same old Tex Mex menu every other Mexican restaurant does.Food: 3/5
Terrible, first time trying this place. Tortillas for the tacos were soaked in water and food was cold, manager was nice tho and gave half off, waitress was nice too. Wouldn’t recommend.Food: 1/5
