Napoleon Barmakian was a diamond cutter by day, and a baker by night. In 1931, his passion for well-made, nutritious foods inspired him to make a 100% Whole Wheat Cracker, packaged in a simple brown box. In the last century we’ve expanded to nearly 20 varieties of crackers and flatbreads, but we always make sure to keep the Barmakian Family tradition of quality and fair trading alive. Today, Venus is run by Napoleon’s grandson, Luke Barmakian.
