My family and I have been coming here for years. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, and the food arrives quickly when ordered. The sour cream chicken is so good I ate it before I could snap a picture! There is always a generous portion of whatever you order, and the staff is quick to keep your glass filled with your drink of choice. We’ve even had a waiter bring lollipops for the kids. That’s how you do business!
I always have a pleasant experience at Vera Cruz when I need my Mexican food fix. I love that their fajitas are loaded with fresh vegetables as well as meat. I was greeted and seated promptly. My food was sizzling hot and delicious. The portions are enough that I ate lunch and had plenty to take home for dinner later. My server was sweet and attentive.
Incredible service twice in a row. Waiter was hustling and on top of it. The food is very good. Not the best Ive ever had but good enough to eat weekly. Rellenos and Enchiladas are spot on. Definitely making this a weekly lunch. Prices were very good, too.
My wife and I used to come a lot, and it was great, but the last couple of times that we've eaten here, the food has been terrible. We ate here last night, and the food had zero flavor. The steak was overcooked, and it seemed like the vegetables were added as an afterthought. Thirty-eight dollars wasted.Food: 2/5
Wonderful staff and wonderful food. Will definitely be back. Brought family to town and stopped here for the last meal before they left. Our server was great. We never needed a thing from him. On top of it and great attitude.Food: 5/5
Seems like when it comes to Hispanic Food in the area you can either get great service or good food but not both. On an extended trip from Brooklyn, NY and found this place based on Google reccomendations. Being mixed ethnicity myself I wasn't sure what to expect, the last spot we went to here had okay food but great service. This spot was the opposite. Food is definitely on point. Carnitas tasted like my Abuela's, fajitas were very well made, Guac was a little weird tho looked and tasted like it was whipped with sour cream, large portions, convenient location off the highway with great prices. Service is what's lacking. There was a large party sitting next to us on both sides, no problem, having some sort of celebration except they had multiple kids running around screaming and laying everywhere on the floor with balloons all up in our faces and our food. If the parents weren't going to say anything then the staff should have intervened. Not surprisingly the place was way better and noticeably quieter after they left.
A family tradition when I visit, always great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food. Vegetarian options: Specific dinner combos and other choices for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: Kids love tacos, they have tacos Parking: Large lot and plenty in the square.
The servers are nice and attentive their food is delicious they're cheese dip is the best out there I love their tacos and beans and rice and if you get there sweet tea and one of their Frozen mugs it's off the chain I recommend this place to everybody everywhere Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian meals where you know it's like beans and rice with tortillas and then you can have your cheese deal it is awesome Kid-friendliness: They have kid meals and they have stuff that's not hot cuz you know of some kids don't like spicy it's all around for everybody Parking: There's plenty of parking spaces there's never really a wait Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair access so that everybody can go there and enjoy a good Mexican meal Dietary restrictions: They do have vegetation meals they do have great alcohol if you drink I don't but a lot of people do is everything there is so good if you haven't been there go try it

Worst alleged Mexican food I've ever had placed in front of me. Bland, no flavor or spice... literally warmed corn tortillas rolled around boiled tasteless mushy ground beef, drowned in red tasteless, bland barely warm red sauce clearly from a can...and literally a pinch of cheese in a lump on top not even melted. My bf got an alleged burrito supreme... again larger warmed corn tortilla, wrapped around boiled bland and tasteless meat then covered in bland barely warm quest cheese... The only thing they have going for them is chips and salsa. It was flavorful, little spice and chips were fresh. The service was ok... it took them at least 10 mins to seat us and the restaurant was largely empty with staff standing around doing nothing. I paid my bill politely and left, won't be back Idk what kind of Mexican food yall have had compared to this place but clearly not real and genuine. Horrible experience and a waste of $, time and effort.
