The Vermilion County Clerk's office is located at 201 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL, in the VCAB. Hours are M-F 8:00 - 4:30.
Our office holds birth records from 1858-current, death records from1877-current, and marriage records from 1826-current. We issue both Marriage and Civil Union licenses. We registesr all notaries in Vermilion County, as well as Assumed Names/DBA's for businesses. We maintain voter registrations for all voters outside the city limits of Danville, and conduct all elections in the county. We also collect delinquent property taxes.
