Same outcome as those who sued. Was given every excuse in the gambit, just as others stated to the BBB and in their legal proceedings.Worst experience. Promised grand and glorious work, but never came back. Appeared once on our back deck 12 steps up, with his wife at the bottom step, 5 months AFTER his last appearance with half the shutters. I have mobility limitations, so I was startled & shocked that they didn't come to the front door. He tried to get me to write him another check in my husband's absence; but we had chosen and prepaid for shutters along with total window replacements, an entire year in advance per his invoice for the "special color order." At my back door I told him he'd have to deal with my husband. We don't do business that way, and after reading all the BBB reports and of his arrest, we are glad that the judicial system became involved. We will carefully find another company which is genuinely reputable to finish our shutters.
If I could give zero, I would. I moved into a house in July with their windows. The previous tenants broke one of the windows. 5 months on, Vermont Vinyl has yet to fulfill their promise to replace the window and now it's winter and freezing in that room. They virtually never answer the phone twice out of a dozen attempts, and never, ever return calls, ever. They claim they got the wrong window call 1, then that all the window dealers they work with have gone out of business and they're having a hard time finding a replacement call 2, 2 months ago, no word since. Yet, there they are, still in business and offering deals. DO NOT BUY FROM VERMONT VINYL!
