Vernon Hills Montessori Academy (formerly Montessori & Music Academy) was founded in 2000 and opened its doors as a first Montessori School in America with a music curriculum.
We are a private, nonsectarian school, with no religious affiliation and we are a diverse community, full member of the American Montessori Society (AMS), licensed by DCFS and registered with the Illinois State Board of Education, affiliated with Illinois State Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and American College of Musicians.
