Very busy store but worth the effort. Hey, you can't beat the price.
This store used to be great. I have been going there regularly for years. It was great for certain things. All of a sudden the store has completely gone to pot, coincidentally at the exact same time they raised their prices. The last few times I was in the store it was in chaos. The store was in chaos in terms of restocking. The woman checking people out asked the manager for help because the line was all the way to the back of the store and the manager yelled back to her that he was too busy and "that's what they get when they don't have enough people working". To top it all off some items are being replaced by "new" sizes of the same product that are 1/4 the size for the new higher price. Ridiculous.
I don't mind the 1.25 but what I DO mind is rude cashiers. There is a newer heavyset woman there maybe in her 50s..and you can clearly see she doesn't want to be behind a register. If she is the only one working I leave and buy nothing. I don't even wanna deal with her. Next time you make awful comments about customers make sure a family member isn't still inside the store! If this is the type of ppl they hire I'd rather take my business to Walmart or Dollar General. They used to have remarkable ppl, now the only one of the original ones left is the very sweet oriental lady. That woman deserves one heck of a raise!
Nice helpful staff always clean, always good option of inventory that doesn't cost a fortune
I would leave a one star for customer service, but the store does have great deals/items for sale. However, when I walked in 16 minutes to close yesterday evening, my step daughter and I went in to grab a notebook. Immediately we heard the staff telling the customers before us that they close in ten minutes immediately lying about the time. Store hours are store hours, I understand, but if you want to shop before close, everyone should be allowed to. Not talked about to other staff, and customers, herded in line to check out. It was so unprofessional and rude. Doors are closed for new shoppers coming in, but should allow customers to not be treated like an inconvenience to want to shop in your store. I left just angry that I was also given the fake "thank you, have a good night" that I knew was all too fake. The two workers on staff would have been out of there if you were focused on ringing up your patrons instead of running and talking bout people and getting everyone out of there, as soon as possible. I guess when everything is a dollar, customer service isn't necessary anymore.
This is my favorite Dollar Tree in the area. It has a large refrigerated section at the back of the store where you can purchase staples such as eggs and breakfast sausage, frozen vegetables and many other cold items. Many of these stores do not have this feature. There is plenty of variety. I like the office and school supply sections as well as the gift bags and accessories. I think anyone is crazy to pay more for these items when you can get nice ones here for only $1.00. The artificial flowers are so much cheaper than other stores. I would award 5 Stars if only the store were kept tidier. There is often stuff in the aisles and things can look a little disheveled, but I've seen worse at some of the other Dollar Trees. They've had some of their staff for a long time and they are efficient and friendly. I hope the Dollar Tree at the Towne Square Mall will be around for a long time.
Store is much cleaner then it used to be. Plenty of staff to check you out. Good thing because it's a very busy store. I mean it's a Dollar Tree you get what you pay for. That being said they have a great craft selection. As much as I complain about it when I go in there I always spend too much. Lol.
I'm not sure why this Dollar Tree has so many bad reviews, I work in this plaza and this Dollar Tree is wonderful. Arguably the best Dollar Tree in the area. All of the staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Not sure what some of these people have against Patrick, but I know Patrick from shopping there frequently and Patrick is very kind and helpful. I've never had a bad experience with Patrick and I think he's a very good employee, always a smile on his face willing to help. Also this Dollar Tree has a huge freezer section with lots of yummy food so that's a plus too!!
Always a good place for $1 deals. As typical with many dollar stores there's a mix of good and bad. Cashiers are really nice here, though, which makes it pleasant to pop in once a month and stock up on all those dollar necessities.
Today's visit found more merchandise thrown about on the floor than on the shelves. The floors are so dirty and stained and this store, for me, was get in and get out quick, then use hand sanitizer. Yes, the deals remain like 2 cards for a dollar. Just wish this store was kept up better.
