Vesuvio Bakery

A gem of the Chicagoland area hiding in plain sight. Parking was easy, prices were great and staff were friendly and wonderful. Everything we bought was amazing. The only problem is my wife is a midnight snacker and now I have to stay up late to protect the last of our focaccia bread.

Authentic Italian bakery with great selection and family-owned atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had the Italian beef so good and only 5 bucks! It's a decent size too like 7 inch and plenty of meat. I'm very picky with Italian beef but it is very good, tender and no fat. Also got a few pastries the neopolitan and blueberry cheese cake.

I have gone here for @ least 50 years. Original owners from Italy . Italian sausage beats any out there . Thankyou Grace and Gino!

I bought a dozen cannolis and some Italian cookies from here. I wish I lived near Chicago. These are the best I’ve ever had. And such a great mom and pop old fashioned Italian bakery. I knew I was in for a treat when I walked in.

All the bakery goods are excellent but also the Italian sausage and sandwiches are fantastic. But the best thing about this place is the family who works there. They are the greatest.

Great little place. Probably some of the best cannoli I’ve ever had and the stuffed focaccia was equally as great.

Bread, focaccia, pizza, bakery delights, and sandwiches. Love this place! Great people who care about their product. Don't forget to order the cannolis! Daddy Dave approved

I have been going here since I was 5 y.o. now more than 10x that! . I always make a point of stopping in at least once when I return home, and it is always as good as I remember!
