Veterans Park is 81 acres full of activities for all ages. We have three exciting playgrounds. Come out to see our boulder playground for climbing for all ages, our traditional playground with playweb, and finally our splash playground.
The Veterans Park Recreation facility is the first of its kind to open in Lee County for Parks & Recreation. It has been a long awaited project for our department. It opened in December of 2004. We are very excited to finally offer a quality recreation facility that lives up to our standards.
Lee County Parks & Recreation joined together with Lee County School Board to build a kindergarten-8th grade school with a recreation facility on the property. Lee County Parks and Recreation put up the land for the School Board and they in turn built a 38,000 s.f. free standing recreational facility. This facility serves the Lehigh residents as well as all residents in Lee County.
