It was a nice short walk, paved. Lots of poison ivy around the sides but wide enough to stay clear.
This was a great park to go to for a walk and enjoy an unexpected warm day. For the most part it was clean. My little one enjoyed the play areas. I tried to keep him in his appropriate area but he kept going to the older child section which even for me I thought it was to high so you really have to watch your child. One of the big plusses was to see a swing for kids with wheel chairs. It was fun.
Nice park to walk around or bring the kids to. It has a rink, ball field and walking trail.
One of the cleanest baseball/softball fields I've played in. Grass is level. No crazy dips or holes.
I grew up down the street and was in the 8th grade when they put this park in. My friends and I would go there to play basketball, street hockey, or baseball. I've watched my nephew play baseball on the same fields and watched my own kids on the playground. But what I've also watched is the parks gradual fall into disrepair. The basketball courts have no rims , the street hockey rink is in shambles. Only thing I see taken care of is the baseball fields the walking paths and the trash is emptied. I' d like to see the park back the way It was . Maybe we could get the kids out of the house more and off those electronic devices.
Very quiet park nice to take walks bike rides and bring the kids to play at the park
Super nice park, met really awesome people there and it was a beautiful spring day, I love the benches in the forest. Great for studies and great just to sit and talk with someone or even just be alone and ponder thoughts. Go before the bugs come out! It would be a great place to hang out with friends and have a picnic as well. The parking spots are unique and cool too. Its a very "tucked away" public park!
I walk here quite often. Enjoyable and pleasant walking conditions through the tree shaded area. Most times it's very cool because of all the trees overhead. I have experienced it to be very clean. Although parking can be problematic when the kids are playing baseball on all the fields. Not as hectic during the summer and fall months when the baseball teams are no longer playing on the fields. Park also offers a nice playground for the kids, picnic tables under the shade and plenty of trash barrels scattered along the pathway. You can definitely enjoy a good workout in this park.
We love this park so much. Such a great place to take the kids weather it be to teach them how to ride a bike or play some street hockey in the pen or play on the jungle gym it's awesome. We also love it so much because we can bring our other 4 legged furry child!!!! Awesome trails to walk or run or jog, by yourself is so peaceful but with a partner is such a beautiful setting to unwind and relax! Love this park so much!
The walking trails are nice and mostly paved around the ball fields. We tried snowshoeing but there was too much ice this year. In the warmer months this park is good for a quick hike or nature walk. I would rate the walking as being easy since the surface is flat. The park is popular with dog owners. Be aware of a coyote in the area, though we've never seen one there.
