VE+CC is Southern Nevada’s only 24 hour veterinary emergency and critical care facility.

VE+CC, through its association with LVVSC, will provide general practice veterinarians and pet owners access to life-saving emergency, critical and specialty care doctors all under one roof. Unlike other local animal emergency facilities, VE+CC will have doctors and nurses on-site at all times allowing for continuous treatment and ongoing collaboration with the animal’s primary veterinarian. If referral to a specialist is needed, LVVRC doctors are literally down the hall.

I had the horrible experience of my fur baby getting sick while en route from Washington to Arizona. I am so thankful we ended up at Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. They were able to complete surgery and take amazing care of my baby! The communication from the Vets, Surgeon and techs was thorough, empathetic and supportive. They called each day with an update and made me feel comfortable with leaving him there for the time he required. Thank you for your competence, compassion and care of my Charlie bug!
My doggie escape somehow from the backyard and was hit and run by a driver, we took her to the closest veterinary emergency and critical condition hospital, I was so scared because my doggie looked so bad! They were so calm, took care of my dog, made surgery the next day and released her two days after with two screws on her hip. The Doctor explained every step with patience, checking with a call on the progress every morning. Today will be 10 days. She is eating well, walking around and barking again! Thank you so much for saving my fur baby!! You all are just amazing!

We had to euthanize our dog because he was 16 & in a lot of pain at 2am. We took him here & the front desk ladies were wonderful, caring, & gentle with us & our buddy. They were gentle with him when the put the catheter in & when he went to sleep. I don’t think it could’ve been any better considering the circumstances. And vet & vet tech were awesome. So grateful they were there when we needed them. Thank you
Terrible experience. The front desk person was rude and when they took our Yorkie to be examined for a possible broken jaw they came back with no answers. They tried to upsell us on a CAT scan for $3,000. They even referred to our dog in the wrong gender as if they didn't even know which animal they were talking about. Last August we had a fantastic experience as our little 4lb dog was attacked by a pitbull. They saved his life then. It was a much different experience this time.. We had to tell them that they had muzzles for him given our last experience which they denied. When we insisted they find a muzzle they looked further and found the item. The nurse said she didn't know about them as she only started working there 5 months ago. What!?! You'd think after 5 months they would know where things were located. It's scary to put your pet in their hands!
Edit: My cat is completely well again and I can't thank this hospital's staff enough for that. If a vet clinic offers walk-ins and 24/7 service, expect to wait unless it's a serious emergency, and expect to pay a little extra for the convenience of having your pet seen and treated outside of most vets' normal working hours. I expected both of these things so I have no complaints. Everyone was really nice and they did a great job with my cat.
Best place to take your fur baby in an emergency!!! My cat was there for 2 days and they treated him very well!!!! Oreo and I really appreciate all of your efforts to make this situation better! Great service and amazing staff!! Rightly recommend! Thanks VECC team for keeping my baby safe!!
Great experience! My puppy fell and we thought that something could be fractured or broken even though the limping stopped quickly. Quick process to gather all the info they needed. Nurse came and fact checked everything I provided during intake and got a pretty quick diagnosis with tips and what to look for within 30 minutes. Highly recommend for your furry loves!
I cannot thank Pet VE+CC enough for the amazing care they provided for our dog Molly. When we first brought her in, she was very sick and we were worried that we might lose her. But the team at Pet VE+CC was incredible. They worked tirelessly to diagnose her condition and develop a treatment plan, and they were so kind and patient with us throughout the entire process. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, Molly is now back to her happy, healthy self. We are so grateful for the exceptional care that Pet VE+CC provided, and we will always be thankful for the way they went above and beyond to help our beloved pet. All pet owners know how hard it is to decide to put your animal down when needed. I've had to do 2 over the last 12 yrs both at VE&CC each time. Happy to say their standards remain as high as they were in 2010. The entire staff that works to assist you do so with compassion, feeling, and heart as if it were their own pet needing attention. Last night was my last hours with KIKI, a great loving and dedicate cat. She was so talented. From fetching, to getting food from the purple trees to bunny watching at the window. She was loved, will be very missed by me and her pack, and is now without pain and at rest. Thank you staff and Vet at VECC for caring and being there.
