Great food and great people. Meat paddles on Saturdays are always fun too.
Always a great place to stop at when in Platteville. The food on Taco Thursdays hit the spot. Cannot beat the drink prices especially being a college town. I have many great memories of this place and I am sure many more memories to be made along the way.
The burgers are awesome and the prices are great. Rock and Country music are typically played. It usually has an older crowd, so it doesn't get crazy. I like eating here for lunch or dinner. There is a pool table and darts too.Dine in: Yes
Great place to get taco's for a dollar on Thursday night... depending on how busy it is there maybe a wait for a bigger order.
The food there is some of the best bar food that I've ever had! The burgers especially, and the tacos on Thursday nights.

It's a good little bar with good prices. ¢50 tacos on taco Thursday's are awesome. It's an ok little family scene if you get there for an early dinner, with large tables and more seating in the back. Definitely mixed ages, which is to be expected because it's a VFW, but I have always felt more than comfortable being there. I had no problem referring people there when I worked at a hotel here in Platteville. Great place.
in the morning, this place happens to be the local coffee clutch for all of the senior citizen men. I absolutely love that they take care of them all. The noon crowd is typically your workers grabbing a half an hour lunch. During this time, I recommend getting the special as it's already made up and you're sure to get it with in your half an hour lunch break. Overall, I appreciate this place as it supports multiple groups of people.
We stopped in for a Birthday party, and ended up staying for meat paddles as well. Great conversation with friends, and paddles were a blast too. Will definitely go again. Great place and great staff.
