Awesome, there were a lot of awesome vendors, service men and women with information for the veterans and resources such as food, clothing, shoes, phones, mental health resources and do much more. I had an amazing time and met some awesome people. Thank you for the opportunity.
I went several times with a friend to play bid whist on Fridays. Nice environment with music and drinks. I'm also aware that they have community based events to serve the community as well, which is a good thing.
They are my Representatives with the VA and they helped me out a lot I tried Veterans of I mean I've tried the disabled American vets and they will lousy I mean purely lousy people with attitudes won't talk to you I offered and I asked him if I upset him in any way. And they said yes and I extend my hand to say I'm sorry I apologize and they wouldn't say anything it wouldn't take my hand, so I dropped them even though I'm a lifelong member which I paid for so no, Veterans of Foreign Wars they've done a lot for me I I have went from 30% to 80% with their help I praise them bless them and recommend them to everyone.
Always have a good time when I visit there, it reminds you of the cheers bar, where everyone knows your name.
Didn't have enough items for all veterans. And they didn't have enough food. Also they didn't let us use the inside toilets only 2 porta potties for almost 300 veterans. I won't be attending anymore stand downs there.
Great place to relax, kick your feet up, & have a drink @ a reasonable price. Bartender, Leelee is great.
