Horrible service. 2 years contract for their service. When I intended to stop their service, I called to ask what I need to return. They said only modem. Then after I really cancelled the service, they asked for the receiver on the antena. The problem is their return instruction come to me after 10 days of the cancellation and I was out of the country, couldn't climb to the roof to take it. They gave me 2 options, $115 for them to take it off or get fine $300.
I wish I could give this place a 0. Please don't ever use this service. They are awful. Internet is terrible, and when you cancel service, they want to charge 100 to come get the equipment. THEY put on my roof .
Worst customer service ever !!!! Had a new roof installed and prior to the installation we called Dish to schedule a service call to have the dish recalibrated to the signal, we were directed to Via Satellite inc. for the service as they are the Dish Representative for my area. Roof was replaced on Wednesday and Dish was scheduled to be on-site Friday between 1-5:00pm at 4:30 we received a call stating they have to reschedule because the tech was in an accident due to weather conditions “ it was in the upper 60s with on and off rain showers “ So the earliest they could come was the following Wednesday between 8-12:00 so I take off work again and at 10am I get a call saying they had to reschedule because the tech called in sick so I was very irritated and let them know and the lady on the phone said they were moving techs around to have someone at my house that afternoon and I said to her just tell me now “is someone actually going to show up today “ and she said absolutely and even gave me a one hour window of between 3-4pm. Well sure enough at 4:15pm I get a call saying they need to reschedule again, I can tell you I lost my freaking mind with those people on the phone, so they rescheduled for Thursday morning between 8-12 someone finally showed up at 9am. To have a simple job like that rescheduled 4 times is totally unacceptable. I work in the service industry and have never witnessed such poor service. Don’t even know what to say other that avoid Via Satellite inc. like the plague
Was going to take a job here. Then was explained the details. Was not okay with the fact they want you to up sell product to customers in order for you to make any money. I was offered a position of installer but instead they wanted you to also be an onsite sales person. Barely wanted to pay you anything to install. Wants you to up sell items for triple of what the same item cost at Walmart. Was not comfortable having to rip people off in order to make any money. Need less to say I didn't take the job.
Had an appointment for a Tech to come out and upgrade my Equipment. It was scheduled for Thursday between noon and 5 pm. So I took a half aday off from work to cover the time. At approximately 4:30 I was notified that the Tech was running late and would show up between 5:30 and 6:45. Well outside the schedule window. When I called Via Satellite and expressed my frustration to the dispatcher she said she would discuss it with his supervisor and get back to me. Well Ryan for Via Satellite called to inform me that because the appointment would run so late that he was CANCELLING the appointment. This is Via Satellite punishing the customer for expressing their frustration with the POOR Customer Service they provide. If their dispatcher's can't redirect Tech to cover customers when a particular Tech has run into an issue, THEN FIRE their dispatcher's and fix their process. TERRIBLE Customer Service from a small town business.
This company is fraudulent, from the moment I started with them my service was subpar. Only help I got was to reset the modem. They have been over charging me for the service as well.. go with anyone else shut this company down.
Have been a satisfied DISH customer through Via Satellite for many years. This month we decided to add DISH internet. Via sent installer Greg for the project. Greg called ahead, as promised and showed up on time. In consultation with me, he selected a satisfactory location for the additional dish antenna, installed it in a professional manner, and took the cable to the desired termination point using a somewhat difficult but unobtrusive route. Upon completing that job, he took time to quickly solve a hookup problem with a bedroom TV, although that was not scheduled.All in all, a VERY satisfactory job by Greg and VIA Satellite, Inc.
They have cancelled twice, after I rearranged my schedule! Haven't had service since before Memorial Day! May cancel my Dish after today!
Worst experience every. Dealing with Hughes net. Terrible service. And the office employee in the Warrenton is extremely rude and disrespectful
Use to work here and the pay was unfair as far as the work needing to be done and management needs to go back to school and learn how to treat others especially there employees
