DAWN GLASS
(Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tap, Tumbling, Musical Theater)
Dawn has worked in the entertainment industry for 25 years and is an accomplished dancer, choreographer singer and instructor. She has worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Toni Braxton, Debra Cox and Foxy Brown, was the lead dancer/choreographer for the Broadway Show and tour of “Viva American” and the lead dancer in “Best of Broadway”. Dawn has performed in numerous music videos, films, commercials and musicals and is on faculty with Dance Olympus and Tam Jams International Tours. She is the Artistic Director for “The Pulse” Performance company and Vibe Performing Arts. Dawn has performed in numerous Broadway Dance Center Showcases and has been named All-American Choreographer consecutively for 8 years. Her students have worked in “The Radio City Rockette Christmas Spectacular”, lead roles in major motion pictures “Bring It On Again” “Austin Powers Goldmember”, “White Chicks” and “Step Up”; Janet Jackson National Tour and videos, NBA Allstar Show, American Girl on Broadway, International Touring Company of CATS, 42nd St, and a A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Academy Awards, MTV Music Awards, numerous Disney and Nickelodeon shows and commercials for Hannah Montana, Nike and Mattel.
Dawn is very excited to bring her experience and passion for dance to her hometown of Gettysburg.
NOLINE EDMOND
(Classical Ballet Instructor)
Noline trained at CPYB under the direction of the world-renowned ballet mistress Marcia Dale-Weary. CPYB is famous for producing many of the world’s most premier ballerinas and principal dancers in top ballet companies. She was a member of CPYB ballet company for two years and was asked by Marcia to join the staff of CPYB as assistant to Marcia as well as teaching her own classes. Noline has also studied on scholarship at the famous Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NYC and with Youssouff Koumbassa in West Africa focusing on the Graham Dance style and West African dance.
Noline hopes to bring a new passion for ballet to all of her students.
HOPE VONSAS
(Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop & Classical Ballet Instructor)
Hope has trained in ballet, jazz and lyrical since the age of 5. She toured with the Children’s Performance Company from age 7-17 performing in England, Scotland, Wales, Republics of Czech and Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and The People’s Republic of China. She received a bachelors Degree in Dance from the University of the Arts in 2006 and has since trained with world-renowned choreographers. With her training and experience she hopes to show students how to push and fuel the drive and passion into their craft.
SARAH FLYNN
(Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-hop & Classical Ballet)
Sarah has a strong classical ballet background as well as a vast knowledge of today’s exciting new styles like those seen on “So You Think You Can Dance”. She has trained with world-renowned choreographers as well as being awarded elite dance titles throughout the country. Sarah’s unique approach to choreography, her brilliant creativity and amazing dance skills motivate all that take her class. Sarah’s goal is to share her wonderful passion of dance with all of her students.
