Both myself and my son have had terrible experiences at this clinic. If it weren't for capable doctors elsewhere catching their mistakes I don't know what we would have done. We now go to the other clinic in town and receive much better care.
Horrible wait times. The have us check in prior to our appointment times. Today we checked in 10 minutes prior to our appointment...waited over 35 minutes...no doctor...mind you we were the only ones in the clinic. It took me over three weeks to get this appointment. I had to pull my child out of school...for what...nothing...because we never saw the doctor. This is the second horrible time with my daughters doctor there. There was no explanation...no oh I am sorry the doctor was running late..nothing. Screw this clinic.
Have been going here for years and am fed up. Having patients sit in the waiting room a half hour past the scheduled appointment time would be uncomfortable if it happened once, but when it is absolutely consistent it is unacceptable. I had an appointment this morning scheduled for 7:40. I was there at 7:10 and finally left, unseen, at 8:06. The clinic opens at 7:00. How do they get a half hour behind in less than an hour? They just don't care. I will be finding a new doctor.
Update: putting back to 5 stars but seriously the bills coming from corporate need better information. They could have just told me Medicaid reclaimed money because I had two insurances. new review: Just received billing statements from as far as March of last year. I was completely covered on SSI-WI Medicaid. I'm now after over a year being charged? Great people working. Front desk is amazing. Terrible at billing. Old: Always know what they are doing. Always appropriate. Always knowledgeable. Edit: typo They have a new location in the same structure as Family Fresh which is a much more comfortable place to visit.
I took my 3 year old in and had a terrible walk in experience for urgent care. They couldn’t give any estimate on wait times and after two hours I had to just leave.
I have always gone to vibrant health. The receptionists are very helpful and nice. I have been seeing Dr pesavento for about 3 years now. She has gone above and beyond for me on many occasions. And when she can't help she will find someone who can. She is always friendly, and spends the time she needs with me. I feel she genuinely cares for her patients.
I have gone to this clinic for 20 years. Dr. Zimmerman has been my primary care physician for that entire time, and I trust him completely. He is a brilliant diagnostician, and someone I would recommend to anyone who wants to work with a medical professional who maintains current knowledge, is a true scientist, and able to provide sound recommendations and appropriate treatment. In many cases, I prefer to see Dr. Z than a specialist because he is as informed as many specialists, will tell me when he is not, and is very accessible. He has been very dedicated to helping me maintain the best possible health.
As most others have detailed here, this is not a good place to go if you are in need of consistent and quality care. Most physicians will make you feel like a nuisance for even showing up. If you have no other choice than a place like this, then the best advice I can give is to be prepared to be an advocate for yourself. You will need to be your own patient coordinator Don't let them toss you aside, and don't take ANYTHING they say as a guarantee, especially with insurance complications. In fact, be prepared to call your insurance provider, on the spot, to better dispel the false promises and oversights you are sure to encounter, while there. Good luck all, get better!
We have had a few problems with having a doctor that never is avalabe here, why even have him as a doctor here if we can't see him in a month? Since my sister switched docters, no issue with appointments. We had no issues with my doctor, easy to get prescriptions even if we make a mistake. I honestly think the adults today are brining their kids into the ER for anything even a mosquito bite. Still, don't support the overpriced hospital issue that plagues America.
Dr. Lijewski has been my primary MD for about 15 years. I hope Dr. L can be my doctor my whole life, since I am older than she. : Dr. L is a good listener and takes my concerns to heart. She offers different treatment options and we discuss them together. My husband also sees and likes Dr. Lijewski.
