Victoria Bar is a really great spot. It’s super cute inside and has an awesome overall vibe. They have a ton of heated and covered outdoor seating. Super dog friendly too! The drinks are tasty and service is good. The Parmesan herb fries are delicious.Food: 5/5
A whole vibe. Calm but busy, not too loud, dark but not impossible to see, and tons of seating options. Service was wildly quick for late on a Saturday night, and food was fresh. Drinks were top notch. Love their selection of non alcoholic beverages, that was surprising to see! Definitely somewhere we will be back soon.Food: 4/5
Victoria bar is a great spot for vegans. On the north end of Mississippi, but don’t miss it. I enjoyed the vegan chicken and waffle today and the portion was large. Food was hot, tasty, and prices are mid range. Order at the bar, food is delivered to your table, we had a large group and food came out quickly. The only thing that would make this place better is refillable mimosas for brunch.
Tasty bites, we ordered the vegan Buffalo cauliflower wrap and the vegan bbq chicken sandwich. Good crunch, great texture. The beverages are princess bride themed and also delicious, we just didn’t order them this time around.
Really cool bar with excellent drink selection and average food. Tons of liquor selections but maybe a little light in the pour. My drinks were pretty weak. Order at the bar for everything and they'll bring food to your table. Food was just average. Lots of dill in the deviled eggs, so much that it overwhelmed everything else. Spicy cauliflower was tasty. Burger was pretty good actually. Fries were also pretty good. Just can't get that dill flavor out of my head, lol. Fun spot, cool vibe, and good drinks.
Came for the first time. The music and vibe are good. I ordered chicken with rice. My friend got a martini. They have a magic box that does not accept cards or Apple Pay reply wanted to get that mystery package. So I went and got some cash. Put 20$ in the hit taro card, and mashing gave me 15$ in coins : I went back to the bar and told them can I have a 15$ card so I could buy that mystery package. She said we don’t exchange coins …….. so I asked her three-time. After she gave me a look and gave me the cash, I went to the box, and someone shut the mashing, and ultimately experience was ruined. And never got Martini we ordered. Asked for a check and nothing was itemized
Isla Bonita - fruity and islandy Dread pirates - warm and comforting Rous - large and easy to drink - fruity Inconceivable - could not finish Jungle bird - my partners favorite tropical one - fruity, sweet and tropical --- dinner --- Buffalo chicken sandwich - was a little salty and dry to me House Burger - absolutely loved this - really juicy - a little sweet - get this with the kale salad --- sides --- Kale salad Parmasian herb fries --- brunch --- Chicken and waffles - the waffle was a little dry - adored the sauces it came with, especially the creamy one - the chicken was more like a chicken tender, and it didn't taste vegan Breakfast burrito - the avocado was needed - love the hashbrown - the salsa and the cream sauce was excellent - adored the peppers
One of my most frequented spots in Portland and of the Lightning Bar Collective delicious vegan options, and options for the carnivores in your life as well. Beautiful ambience, wonderful staff, delicious drinks. Thanks always Victoria!
Love the food. Cocktails were a bit disappointing this time. Ordered a gin drink off the menu and literally could not tell if there was gin in it I didn't need it boozy, but none of the gin flavors came through. We'll check it out again been there twice so far because the cocktails seemed better the first visit - but we had the short, more intense drinks that time. But definitely big points for delicious vegetarian food served in big portions.
The brunch here was absolutely amazing! We arrived right as they opened Friday morning and had the whole place almost to ourselves. I loved the art deco vibe and there's plenty of seating inside and on a patio. The menu included a bunch of vegan options for my cousin which she loved. We got a variety of things as a group and everything I had was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best brunch places in Portland! The French toast was so good and very sweet, the bread was incredible, and it went great with some coffee. We did the burrito with the vegan sausage and real eggs. I was so surprised by how good the vegan chicken and waffles were, the above chili butter just took it over the edge.
