Randy Vidal, SIOR founded the firm in 1968 and has been responsible for numerous transactions including sales, leases, exchanges and consultations for corporate, investor and local users of commercial property. Randy served as president, Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and on the executive board of IOREBA, a 75-year old association of commercial and industrial brokers and developers. He also served as President of the Westport/Weston Board of Realtors and President of the CID, a multiple listing service dedicated to commercial, industrial and investment properties.
Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, has been a partner with the firm since 1996. He entered the commercial real estate business in 1977 and has completed transactions consisting of sales, leasing and consulting services for the Connecticut business community in excess of $300 million. In 1984 he was named Senior Marketing Consultant for a national real estate firm. From 1989 to 1993 he was Director of Marketing for a major Fairfield County development company, responsible for the leasing of over 350,000 square feet of industrial and technical space. Bruce attended Graham Junior College in Boston majoring in business. He received his SIOR designation on 1988.
David Fugitt, SIOR, a partner in the firm and has 33 years of commercial real estate experience. He was most recently Senior Vice president of John D. Hastings Commercial Real Estate also based in Westport. In this position he managed nine commercial agents.
He has represented many large corporate clients, small to medium companies and investors in the leasing and purchase of commercial and investment properties. He has also served on numerous not for profit boards of directors and is a past Chairman of the Board of the Westport, CT Chamber of Commerce. David is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and earned his SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designations in 1999.
Scott Zakos, a partner with the firm represents owners in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of properties including office, manufacturing, warehouse & distribution, research & development, retail, and investment properties in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. In 1996 he earned his Associates Degree in Entrepreneurship. Shortly after graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 1998 with a B.A. in Business Administration, he joined the firm. Currently, Mr. Zakos is Vice President of the Fairfield County Business Executives and active in the Bridgeport Regional Business Council and Milford Chamber of Commerce.
Robert Lewis, a partner in the firm, has been actively involved in several facets of the industry since he began his real estate career in New York City in 1982. Upon moving to Westport, CT in 1985, Mr. Lewis entered into commercial real estate with Grubb & Ellis marketing class A office space and representing corporate clients. With Vidal, Inc. in the early 1990s, he supervised the management of several office properties for major Connecticut banking institutions, along with representing building owners and tenants in numerous sales and leasing transactions. As a Senior Vice President with Prudential Connecticut Commercial Real Estate, he successfully completed several lease and investment sale transactions, including sales of high profile class A Fairfield County office properties. Returning to Vidal/Wettenstein, LLC, as a partner in 2005, Bob continues to focus on user and investment sale transactions, along with representing landlords and tenants in office and retail lease transactions.
