Chuck treated us in such a kind manner! He was so down to earth but yet professional!! He helped us feel at ease during this trying time!! I would definitely recommend Viegut Funeral Home to anyone living in the Loveland area!! Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts!!
David was very good at handling the details and helping us navigate through the death and funeral arrangements of my father-in-law. The funeral turned out just as we had imagined and the funeral home chapel and reception hall were lovely. They even mailed us something we had accidentally left behind! Hopefully we won't be needing their services any time soon, but we highly recommend them for your loved one's funeral. Only recommendation I have for them is to get some equipment to be able to broadcast the funeral service, especially in this post-covid world. They had internet available, so we were able to figure it out ourselves.
We sent this directly to Viegut Funeral Home email, but never received a response, so I'll add it here to bring some awareness. I wanted to thank you for the helpfulness we received from everyone during the loss of our Mom, Lois Drewer. Shania went above and beyond to assist in every way that she could, and we appreciate that! We also wanted to thank you for the flowers that were sent, which were very thoughtful. We did have a couple of issues during this experience that were concerning to us. When we first came in, we were notified that the pre-plan documentation that we had completed prior to the death with Max was not received. Thankfully, we had copies of the documents and receipts that showed the pre-planned funeral expenses that were paid. We prepared this prior to the event in order to make things easier; however, to no avail. We also requested a special saying that we found that Mom had written and requested that it be added to the service handout; however, in the place of that, the 23rd Psalm was written. No big deal, but it was a request and we were not told that it would be any different. The other concerning event had to do with the burial. It was evident that the plot was very recently dug as the tractor and the vault lid were sitting by the drive as we drove up to her site. We understand that there are deadlines to meet; however, it felt very awkward and harsh when we were asked to leave because the tractor employees were working "overtime"! This burial was scheduled and already had to be postponed an additional hour to work with the schedules only to be asked to leave shortly after we lowered her into her resting place. We have never had this type of experience with Viegut in the past and it was very disheartening to gave these issues. One other question that we have is that we are showing that a couple of trees were planted in her memory. Are we notified as to the location that these trees are planted?
We lost our mom May 1st and David and his staff were so kind and caring helping us set up arrangements. David did a wonderful service for our mom and we do appreciate it. The young woman helping with the meal afterwards was so kind and helpful and allowed us the time to reminisce. We also had our dad’s services there three years ago with the same experience. You’re in good hands there.
When my husband died suddenly from respiratory failure, I felt pretty lost and overwhelmed, not only with losing my husband, but all of the stuff that follows. A friend recommended Viegut. David was amazing, so supportive and helped us with what we needed for our situation rather than pushing high dollar suggestions that would have put more stress on me. Afterwards, they've checked on me and supplied resources. I am so glad we found such a caring place during such a devestating time.
We recently suffered a tragic loss of my son in our family do to fentanyl overdose. We used Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland, Co. for the services. A very well planned and executed service with a combination of Bible readings, eulogies, family pictures and songs, followed by a reception at the funeral home. We all felt some peace afterwards, which is just about all you could ask for after that.
The staff were all very helpful and compassionate in such a difficult time. They made sure that everything was taken care of and that we had everything we needed.
They were so very kind and caring and took amazing care of my dad. Would highly recommend viegut and the prices are very affordable.
Everyone at Viegut is so kind and caring. My family has used Viegut's services multiple times and we have always been so pleased. Thank you for treating our loved ones with kindness and respect.
