The new owners are so nice! My debit card was having an issue and they helped me figure out a way to pay without making me feel bad. The location lost a star ONLY because of the construction. I want able to make a left hand turn to get to the motel so I had to find a spot where I was able to turn and then backtrack. Parking was convenient right outside the room-except someone parked in front of my room. The room was nice- bathroom could have been larger. The door to the bathroom was small. As a plus size person that was daunting. I would recommend either taller toilets or grab bars to make it easier. The bed was firm which I like. I couldn't hear anything from the next rooms. I was afraid that I was being too loud with my AC and television. Overall I would say it was a positive experience. Give this place a chance. Safety: The deadbolt didn't work, but the chain lock did. Also you have to have the key card to get in. I felt safe traveling alone.
We usually stay here when Rock Bend Folk Festival is taking place, and never had any issues. My only complaint would be the bathrooms are oddly designed, you basically have to go behind the door to close it because of how close it is to the toilet. Could use a bit of cleaning in general, but for a budget hotel, it gets the job done.Rooms: 4/5
No words I can say for here, didn't even bother to look at the room...ba bye !!
Fairly clean room cheap price. No pool or breakfast but that factors in with the cheap price. Bed wasn't too bad so I slept pretty good. Rooms are small but they do have flat screens with some cable channels. If you need a cheap room for a night this place isn't so bad.
I locked myself out of my room at 7am, and forgot my Google dongle connected to the TV. And they couldn't have been kinder to help me out. I wholeheartedly recommend staying a night or twoRooms: 5/5
We stayed one night for the St. Peter swap meet. While not a new hotel, it had a refridgerator, microwave and other amenities in the room you would expect at any other newer hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and honest. She had made a $5 error on billing, which I did not catch, and she chased me down to make it right. The room was clean and quiet. It was a fun time to stay in an old roadside motel at a fitting price. I would stay again!
Cheaper hotel, no hassles checking in or out. About 30 rooms, all have their own entrance, nothing really to do at the motel but the rooms are fine for the price. Its hot as hell right now and the room we had is nice and icy cool. Beds are comfy enough. Bathroom was eh but it wasnt bad. Our room had a mini fridge and a microwave. Did not use the tv. Room is not massive maybe 10 by 16 in total. All in all, it was a good place for the price and I would likely stop by again if I plan to stay in the area.
Not horrible but it's a roof over your head rooms are small and out of date towels smell funny seems people only rent rooms for a sneaky linkRooms: 2/5
Makes me think of that old saying, "You get what you pay for. " Well just about the same applies here. I a big guy 6'1" 360lbs and getting into the bathroom is not for someone who has a waist 38+. It was like two step dancing just to close the door. The wifi was strong even to the edge of the parking lot. The AC worked so well that it made me feel like I should have the one at home checked. ...but during the stay the main drain was stopped up which I'm sure isnt a normal thing for the motel, but couldn't use the bathroom for more than half the day. My main problem is that room #29 dead bolt can't be locked.
DISGUSTING PLACE! Dirty, stinky, nasty! White stains and burn holes on the chairs, holes in the table, electric cords hanging from the ceiling wall and back of the TV. Carpet stained with black spots. Room smelt like they were trying to cover something up, really gross. Tried to get a refund after looking at this disgusting room and they refused. All this for $62 UGH! Spend an extra $30 and get a nice clean place. Do not stay here.
