I went to Mexico for the first time. I had lunch at VILLA ORTEGA,S restaurant on a beautiful beach. The restaurant has a traditional Mexican style, with an old-looking building next to the beach. The staff were friendly, the food was a bit salty, but it was also delicious and plentiful. I had a memorable meal.Food: 5/5
A very good restaurant by the sea. Excellent service and food. Fast service, they prepare your order fast. A great place to view the ocean, has 3 levels of seating. The only drawback is the restaurant does not take credit cards for payment, only cash which is a surprise considering the level of business they receive. They should modernize and start accepting credit cards.
To be honest this place is not worth the hype. Over priced. The food was good, tasty but they overcharge. They only accept cash and the waiter was not very helpful and with grumpy face the entire time. Will not be coming back here. Very nice view though.Food: 4/5
Lobster was delicious. Service took a little long, but they gave me a little off the bill for the wait. Views are spectacular with an obvious smell of the ocean. But all in all everything was greatFood: 5/5
One of the best restaurants here in Puerto Nuevo, speaking from experience I've een to at least half of the restaurants here. Service is great, the food has all the flavor you can ask for. They start you off with chips and salsa and freshly baked jalapeño cheese bread, delicious. Ordered Guacamole tasted as fresh as if I was in Michoacan eating avocados there. Had lobster Al mojo De ajo, so delicious and of course they give you then largest flour tortillas... Honestly I can share one within 5 of us. Love the view here, the service and food, it does get packed but with good reason. If you don't want to wait come on a weekday and you'll have the best experience.
Had a great experience and enjoyed the views, food, music, and drinks. Parking was very tight and I'm glad we parked a ways away and walked there. Oh, and the tortillas as huge and soooo good. Food: 5/5
The view is nice when you get ocean view nothing fancy nothing out of the ordinary, the prices are alittle expensive for it being mexico, got the chimchanga and was good has shrimp inside.Food: 3/5
Some of the best Seafood in the world can be found here! When being seated, they give you a basket of jalapeno cheesy bread rolls and a basket if chips with salsa. The tortilla soup was an amazing appetizer! The handmade flour tortillas just tops off the buttery garlicky lobster and shrimp. Please tip your waiters here, they are all hustling their butts off!
We have been coming to Villa Ortegas for many many years, it’s our favorite. We have sat inside, outside on every side of this restaurant and it’s always great service and great food. What we love about Villa Ortega’s is.. Valet parking at no charge, but tipping is a nice gesture. Never have a issue with parking and if you visit Puerto Nuevo you know it’s a very busy place and parking is hard. We LOVE.. The very cleanest of the restaurant, from seating areas and restrooms very clean, also ladies in the fist restaurant next to the kitchen, a lady always has very beautiful accessories for sell, Yes in the restroom many inspiration to name brand jewelry. I always walk out with a nice bracelet or earrings. We love.. The service, it has always been good, friendly and fast. We haven’t had a issue with service. Our food comes out in perfect time. What we Love, All the food. The lobster is always so fresh and delicious comes with beans rice and the very Delicious fresh made Hugh tortillas. Kids menu for younger children that don’t eat seafood they have cheese quesadillas and Fries also yummy dessert. Our family’s choice to eat lobster and at Puerto Nuevo is Villa Ortega’s.
Shrimp quesadilla and fried fish were awesome, with huge portions. Great views! Iced cold beers in mugs. Stuffed bread, chips & salsa, and torilla soup, all included with each entree. Easy parking up front. Couldn't ask for anything better!Food: 5/5
