They clearly have 0 compassion, I don't think they're trained to deal with victims of domestic violence, and they definitely care nothing about enforcing court orders. They won't even let you talk. They say go to court. Well I did, heres my order, but they won't look at it nor enforce it. Or even give you advice on what TO DO with it.... What's the point of any of it?? Let's just wait til he kills me and then we'll deal with it right? That's the plan. Thanks guys.
At the intersection of Roosevelt and Ardmore a few minutes ago, I saw a young white male panhandling. The guy was clean and dressed like any college student. I was waiting to turn left, about 8 cars back. I saw an officer slow down and put on his lights to talk to the kid. I figured he was going to scurry him along, but instead he handed him a bottle of water! It's hot today and that was a really kind gesture. Kudos to you, Villa Park Policeman who has a heart.
These are some of the most professional officers and staff members I have ever dealt with. They will tell you how it is without making something sound better than ot is. You get raw answers. If you have a question, they will answer it as best to their ability. Of they have no answer, they attempt to find one.
I'm sorry for the lady who answered the call on 1-3-19 @ 1pm. She hang on me for asking her name after her rude attitude. This PD doesn't need any more misconduct problems. Her attitude is a reflection of her ugly self. She needs mental health.
Officer Haimamm went above and beyond the call of duty by helping a someone I know who was in between places to live. He helped out for over a week and worked with me to try to improve the situation. He didn't have to do anything at all, but he did.Thank you so much officer Haimamm!
I've have numerous bad experiences with this police department. They are very rude, gave me a bogus traffic ticket and have given me totally incorrect information on more than one occasion. I recommend that people avoid Villa Park so they don't have to deal with this department.
