Amazing service and experience! Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Decor is great, space is great, and the lighting is a bit dim but really sets the mood! Service was exceptional! We had a table for four, ended up just three of us. They proceeded to sit us at a table set for 2. Food was phenomenal. 100% recommend the Gorgonzola and pear. WOW! I was taken for surprise at how delicious that was. The complimentary bread is always a great touch too! Why the 4 stars? 2 simple reasons. Quantity of food. I ordered the Pasta Al Nero di Seppia and that was not worth the $42 it cost. It lacked. All the plates could use an up in size for the price charged. Secondly, the drinks were below average. Martini was eh. Moscow mule was eh. Spritz was good! The flavors are all there on every single plate! The presentation is gorgeous too. And the staff’s experience and service is amazing too!
The Gorgonzola pear appetizer was delicious and worth getting and the prawn was good although overcooked. The dessert which is normally my favorite of cream brûlée was significantly thicker than any I’ve ever had and had a strange aftertaste although I’m sure it would be tasty to other people. The atmosphere looked pretty dated and could use a facelift. Waitstaff was polite and nice.
The food here is absolutely amazing! The carbonara is to die for & the lasagna is simply delicious! We did not make reservations but lucked out getting a table. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Sergio came over & chatted with us for a while & he is just lovely. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.
I don't know if my expectations were too high or if my expectations reflected the atmosphere and menus pricing. The atmosphere was spectacular along with the wait staff. My wife loved the bruschetta and i was fond of the shrimp appetizer. Now for the entres. My wife had the salmon with creamy tomato pasta which she found ok. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Then when i tasted it to my dismay i discovered that there was zero and i mean zero flavor. This i found problematic because it is opposite from my dealings with Italian cuisine. This mantra continued with the box tasting flavorless garlic mashed potatoes and the crispy but bland asparagus. We could taste the white wine in the mushroom risotto but there must not have been much room for any other flavors. I don't believe there was a pinch of salt in the entire restaurant because there definitely wasn't any accessible to the patrons.
There's still no better authentic Italian restaurant. BEST Italian food in Tulsa and has been for many years. Excellent service and staff. The whole Italian experience and atmosphere. Great place to take a date.Food: 5/5
For me, the food was okay. It was not even attractive looking. You would think that for the price they charge, they would take some time and effort into making the meal presentable, making it attractive. It was not worth it for me. It's overrated.
My wife and I tried this place based solely on reviews. We were not disappointed in the least. Our server, Anthony, was very personable and attentive. Absolutely great service and the food was delicious, fresh and definitely made with care. Thank you, Anthony for a great dining experience. Also, the owner made trips around the restaurant ensuring that everyone was satisfied throughout the evening. This place cares and it shows. -SR
THE BEST Italian in Tulsa. I live in Kansas City but travel to Tulsa frequently for work. Villa Ravenna is a go to for me everytime I’m in town. Delicious authentic Italian with an extensive menu and wine list. Even simple items like their house salad think fresh tomato, avocado and hearts of palm with home made Italian dressing are exceptional. And it’s not just the food that’s great,...you can always expect top notch service from their entire staff. You will be taken care of! They have even taken extra measures to ensure a safe dining experience during this time of the pandemic. Hands down one of my favorite places to dine period and I travel A lot and eat out A LOT for my job
A local favorite- impeccable service and authentic Italian food! Highly recommend the Alfredo - also I love the lamb for those who enjoy lamb it’s one of the best in Tulsa! Pasta is made from scratch and all of the food is well thought out!Food: 5/5
My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere of the restaurant and warm welcome we received set the tone for the entire meal. The restaurant has a magnificent wine selection. The burrata appetizer was everything you would hope for- delicious, light, flavorful, with high quality ingredients. I ordered the bison with mushroom risotto for an entree. Wow! Cooked perfectly throughout and the risotto was some of the best I’ve ever had. Finished off the meal with a classic cannoli. What sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Sergio came over to our table and that was very appreciated. We can’t wait to go back and highly recommend!
