Village Bakehouse

Village Bakehouse is a fantastic place. They made our wedding cake planning process super easy and were very flexible and receptive to ideas. The cake turned out absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing. Our guest couldn't get enough of it and continually complemented both the look and taste.

I love this place!! All of the food I've had is very good and their baked goods are scrumptious. I especially like their fudge brownie, it is perfection. The staff is always nice as well. I arrived 2 minutes before closing time the other day not on purpose and they still happily took my order. Highly recommend.

My original post got deleted because I used an old email but I have to rave about Village Bakehouse and the artists they have there, so I’m leaving a review again! This cake was made for me roughly 2 years ago. I emailed them a photo of what I wanted and got exactly just that. The cake was delicious and I was just blown away by the look of my cake! If you play ACNH you’ll appreciate this picture of the cake even more!

Village Bakehouse was so easy to work with. Got an 8” round wedding cake. We chose Red Velvet. It was so delicious! The cake was very beautiful and elegant! Got so many compliments on our cake! Thank you so much!

They made my wedding cake to serve over 100 people and not only was it beautiful, but it was so delicious. We had gotten the almond and vanilla flavoring with strawberry filling and it was by far my favorite cake I've ever had. Loved it!!!

I gave it five stars because the German chocolate cake was exceptionally good. If I could, I would reduce half star because: 1. I went to the store to order the custom designed cake. Even that, we had to communicate on the phone twice after I left to finally make it right. It seems an internal communication issue but again it worked out. 2. When I picked up the cake, the cake box could not be fully closed too small? and there is no bag such a paper shopping bag with a handle available. I was given a plan grocery bag so I could carry it. For a small cake that cost about $50, I expected a little more. By the way, I had a sandwich ultimate Italian but I might got the name incorrectly and it was delicious too.

Delicious choice of fresh pastries and breads. Sandwiches are great, too. The cinnamon rolls and cherry danish are fresh and flavorful. cookies are good. Irish soda bread was fresh and tasty. The banana bread tasted homemade. Pies are perfect. I would have given them 5 stars except service can be slow at times.

Picked up a birthday cake today. It was supposed to have a gold birthday sign, but it said Happy Birthday Signgold instead. We love it! Thanks for the laughs and delicious cake!

UPDATE: They’re still making great custom cakes! Great food pastries. The staff is very hit or miss but the food is great. I’ve ordered several custom cakes from this place and they’ve all been fantastic.

The bakery makes some pretty good danish treats and rolls. I had really high expectations for the pie, but that was a total letdown. The cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are fantastic. I've had a few of the lunch sandwiches, but wasn't impressed. My wife enjoys the eggs benedict, but even she prefers to just go there to grab a few rolls and a coffee and head home. The service after the order is super slow, so expect a long wait.
