An Amish Restaurant that takes you back in time. The food is plentiful and very good. I have only had breakfast there. I had the Village Inn Scramble and the Farmer’s Omelette. Both were more than enough to feed a hungry farmer. There’s covered parking for your horse.
Wasn’t real hungry so we split a pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good it was, since they didn’t specialize in Italian foods. Couldn’t pass up on the pies after reading how they are all homemade. In fact our pizza was taking awhile to cook so we ordered & ate our pies first, so incredibly delicious!! Definitely want to return next time in town.
I went here for lunch after touring the Jayco facility down the road. I ordered the cheeseburger with hash browns and had the sour cream blueberry pie for dessert. Everything was perfect and the Amish waitress was very friendly.
Just stopped in for quick pie & coffee. Service was prompt and friendly even though this is definitely a local place. Had sour cream blueberry pie & apple pie. Both good but crumble overly sweet for our taste. So far Crane's & Dutch farms in Michigan has the best pie in our opinion. Coffee was good. Meals going by did look tasty.
Wonderful food, very friendly very homey. Will stop and eat there again often! Great place and reasonable prices
Amish made deliciousness! If you're hungry and looking for a fresh scrumptious meal! Look no further! I enjoy a good burger and they certainly provided. If you're on a diet, they do have some salad options too. Great service, great food, neat setting.
When you think small-town American restaurant, the image that pops up in your head in probably something like the Village Inn Restaurant. It’s small, simple and there’s plenty of locals. The omelettes are nothing special but they get the job done. They also have pie, but I didn’t get any as none of the flavors for that day piqued my interest.
Not what it was in previous years. Food and service was not good. The gravy is out of a can. I have never had a bacon omelet with whole pieces of bacon in it made it hard to eat. We won't go back while visiting the area.
My husband and I ate there on our Honeymoon trip back on 1982. His 1st experience around any Amish. The food was so good that for the next 20yrs we made a point to go here 2-3 times a year. We then moved west. We get back to visit family in Michigan from time to time and make a stop in Middlesbury to visit the Village Inn. Never disappoints!!
Staff was very nice but busily unattentive. Portion size is small for the money. Sadly the food was not good. Been there several times and not had great food.
