Village Juice Co.
"Village Juice & Kitchen has grown from a table at Cobblestone Market, to a food truck, to a 2016 restaurant location at Towers Shopping Center and now to its second location in downtown Winston-Salem in 2018. Our founder, Lonnie Atkinson brought her love of unprocessed plant-based foods and cold pressed juice back from her years living in California. Our goal is to share this passion with our community, offering many vegan and vegetarian choices, but also having add-ons like chicken and a wide ranging menu to make healthy eating taste delicious for all our customers and eating preferences."

Today was my first time eating at this location. The acai bowls were lovely. A bit pricey $11.50 compared to other places that serve acai bowls. Next time I think I might skip out on the coconut shavings. But overall delicious. The cinnamon pecan muffin was great as well
The first time I ordered the "QuityourJ". They also have a good mint chocolate chip smoothie. Today I ordered the bacon and Brussels sprouts bowl with quinoa. It has all the savory with sweetness and spinach, quinoa, roasted cherry tomatoes and Brussels sprouts with a little bit of daring-thick bacon that was sweet and not too salty. Forks were biodegradable, though knives were not, but one doesn't really need a knife for most of the dishes. Can order dine in. Seating both indoors and outdoor. To-go packages, per the sign can be compostable, but if you dine in they will provide dishes. Walking distance from Thruway shopping center and a few blocks from Cloverdale shopping center. Free ice water, which I used as a chaser for my "Great Hydrator", a "post workout tonic" to follow up on arm day. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian and vegan options. Has vegan desserts. Kid-friendliness: I have seen school aged children dine in before and depending on the personal tastes of the family, this would be a comfortable place. Family friendly. Parking: Shares large parking lot with the shopping center and bank. Lunch hour may be busy, but parking is easy to spot from a glance on Stratford road. Dietary restrictions: Some of their beverages are processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts, but I didn’t see any dishes on the menu that contain shellfish, and many options are vegan, dairy free or vegetarian. I think I saw some gluten free items the day I dined there.
This is my favorite place for breakfast in WS - such a cute, clean interior with a friendly staff & deliciously healthy options! The overnight oats & various smoothie bowls are my go-tos
Farmer's daughter grain bowl was very fresh and tasty! The carrot-ginger dressing was phenomenal. I thought there would be more chicken and brown rice to make it more filling; it was a very light meal, so I recommend getting this if you just need a snack or this will be the side for another dish. I look forward to returning and trying one of their smoothie bowls!
*love* this restaurant. Ordered a couple smoothies to go - delicious. We immediately regretted not browsing the chiller and display case first. They has so many vegan dessert options. We're definitely taking advantage of the selection next times. We'll also plan to dine in for breakfast to get the easily bird burrito, avocado toast, and a smoothie. Vegetarian options: So. Many. Choices. Parking: Shared a decent lot with the neighboring businesses. Dietary restrictions: Completely understand and respect you're need to alter items. Need something different? Just ask. Most of the items are made from scratch, so easy to customize
We love Village Juice. Katie M was awesome! Loved her vibe! Very friendly and helpful! Love their nut milks, juices and cheesecakes.
Very delicious fresh food. I don’t normally eat at these kind of fresh vegetable / juice oriented restaurants but this was a surprise. All the food was very delicious and had good flavor. The açaí berry bowl was awesome. Also try their “so good you’ll quit your job”.
I order from here often, and the first time I was here January or December I did like it. But now, the only things I’ll get here are the bottles juices or packaged goods. The handful of previous orders I’ve had, my gluten free toast is burnt and stale I have food allergies but it’s sad there’s not many places for good gluten free options. I’ve had bowls with such unripened fruit that my stomach ached for the next 24 hours, I’ve had the employees there just completely forget my order even when I was standing right there at the end waiting for it and employees that are straight up rude. Now that Clean Juice closed by nearby, I’m so disappointed that this is what we have left for a healthy/juice shop.
I got the Edie Bowl and it was delicious! It was the perfect post yoga meal and their house made drinks are amazing. I could go broke buying them! This would definately be a staple spot for me if I lived in town. Looking forward to trying it again when I'm back in the area! Vegetarian options: I eat meat but always appreciate when I have other options for protien instead of just meat. Dietary restrictions: The are very conscious about what goes into their food
It's a small restaurant but the ambiance feels cozy and modern. The service was fast. The food was good, I got a wrap and it eas kind of spicy. They focuse in healthy food, so they have many vegetarian options and a wide variety of smoothies, also they offer gluten free pastries. I will say their concept is healthy fast food. Vegetarian options: A big part of their menu is vegetarian Parking: The parking lot is big enough
