VOG is a largely student-run garden that will be a venue for teaching students a variety of hands on lessons.
Village Organic Garden otherwise known as "VOG" is the transformation of the courtyard space at the Village School (grades 4-6). The motivation for creating this garden is to enhance the educational curriculum, to promote healthy nutrition habits, and to increase interest and awareness of food sources. The long term goal for VOG is to be a viable, sustainable, organic garden that also includes an outdoor teaching space.
