Thieves. I have had an account with this facility going back several years. It has changed ownership twice. The recent owners upped the rate by 85%. While I understand costs go up, I was never notified nor asked. They have been continuously charging my card on file at the unauthorized rate. Worse yet, I have attempted to rectify this issue for 3 months. The manager Debra has told me she has no control and passed the buck to the owners who are out of Charleston. I have sent emails, left several messages and never have they returned my call. This past week, Debra assured me she would stress the urgency and yet still no call. I asked her to produce the contract and authorization and she refused stating she had better let the owners handle it. The same owners that refuse to return calls. Given that they have been informed multiple times that they do not have authorization to charge my card the new outrageous amount nearly double and yet they continue to steal from me, I will not only have to dispute the charges, it is criminal. Hypothetically, what's to stop them from charging any amount they choose? 200? 2,000? 2 million? Do not rent from this facility as the purported management has no control to handle anything, and the owners refuse to communicate or resolve issues. Update: after finally getting a hold of Ernesto, I was told they would be refunding the difference from my original amount and the new amount during the 5 payments I was attempting to resolve the matter. In addition, it was discovered that the company was over charging for a "protection service " to insure contents that was never in place. They agreed to refund the amount and admitted the error not just on my account but apparently many others as well. This fee was just over 9 dollars a month since September of 2018. That's over $500. Today I received a refund check....not for the over $700 I was entitled to but for an even $250. If this matter is not resolved by tomorrow, I will be contacting an attorney and having records subpoenaed to file a class action for all those who were charged the fee they were not supposed to. These people are criminals. Please feel free to contact me if you have ever rented from the establishment.
I have rented a number of Uhaul’s over the years and I was incredibly impressed with how this location handles things. Steve and Debbie made the whole check out and in process smooth. Whenever I need a U-Haul again I will definitely come back to this location, and I highly recommend it!
10/10 would recommend. Debra and Steve were both very helpful when I needed 2 rentals to move my business equipment during a hurricane threat. I’ve rented from them several times before and definitely will again in the future.
Deborah was very knowledgeable and very helpful to meet my needs! The truck was clean and easy to operate. Will rent again! The UHaul site was in Bluffton SC.
Debra and Steve provided awesome customer service! I looked around but in the end, their personal service sealed the deal!

These guys were absolutely wonderful! I was in a very tight spot and was in desperate need for a truck to move. When multiple other locations were unable to help me, these guys pulled through! I can't thank these guys enough!
